Poor you. Your DD sounds like a very clever, caring and wonderful little thing - you should be very proud of her.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 21/06/2009 16:20

awwww, what a star your dd is. You must be so proud of her. It sounds horrid for you. I hope you feel better soon.

Buda · 21/06/2009 16:28

Poor you - it sounds awful.

But - your DD sounds amazing. She is a total star.

snigger · 21/06/2009 16:40

Strong cup of tea and a sisterly pat on the shoulder for you, king-sized bag of chocolate buttons for DD - poor you.

FabBakerGirlIsBack · 21/06/2009 17:51

Three cheers for that lady - brings teats to my eyes that strangers will help each other.

A million cheers to your DD. A true star.

I hope you feel better soon.

MrsMcCluskey · 21/06/2009 17:54

Whatan amazing little girl you have, and what a kind lady who helped you.
Warms the cockles of my heart!

LadyPinkofPinkerton · 21/06/2009 17:56

Poor you, but what a wonderful little girl

That brought tears to my eyes. So lovely

yappybluedog · 21/06/2009 17:56

give your dd a big hug and tell her how proud you are - she sounds lovely

TurtleAnn · 21/06/2009 19:33

Make both DD's certificate's for being so brave and phoning Daddy and stick it to the fridge to help them label their actions as' brave' and help them indulge in a little self-praise to see the experience as positive rather than as you see it as scary and negative.
Kids are so brilliant and clever in bizarre and unfamiliar situations - well done to you for bringing up such clever kids.

If I have a little girl I hope she is as brave and sensible as yours.

Doodle2u · 21/06/2009 19:48

She can have a pack of 12 pink velvet alice bands for £3.95 from here - I kid you not!

Tortington · 21/06/2009 19:48

headband

janeite · 21/06/2009 19:50

not velvet but the sparkly one might do the trick!

sweetfall · 21/06/2009 19:52

oh she's fabulous. Well done you for raising a child who was able to cope in such a scary situation. She did everything perfectly didn't she?

this is quite a tear-jerking story

what a fabulous little girl, the same age as mine, and I hope mine would do the same.

Another one with tears in my eyes, and what a wonderful lady to help you like that x

NorbertDentressangle · 21/06/2009 19:57

What a fantastic little girl you have there

Hope you're feeling 100% better now

NorthernLurker · 21/06/2009 20:00

What a lovely story - your dd is fab! Doesn't sound like she was frightened tbh - just knew you needed help and had the confidence to get it - which is all a tribute to how you have raised her. So well done to you too!
