School drop offs and working

Hi mums.
i think im feeling overwhelmed since it’s back to school! My daughter has just started reception and my son is in a private nursery (aged 1).
I find it so challenging in a morning, getting 2 children plus myself dressed and where we need to be all on time so that by time I get to work I am exhausted but also I’m struggling to concentrate.

I do 4 days a week currently and I’m wondering if I should drop a day. How do others manage this particularly when you do the drop offs and pick ups and then fit work in etc

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Nursery was easier as more flexible start time. With our DT’s, DH got one ready and I the other. DH took them to nursery (very early) and then went onto work - a GP. I collected them and we walked home. I was working a Tube ride away so timing were tight to get from work in time for the latest nursery collection time
When they started school, a Tube ride away, DH took them and I collected them. We used the breakfast and after school club every day so that we could still work a full day.

I highly recommend finding a childminder that can do the school run and have nursery age children all day.

1 drop off
1 pick up
Often more flexible with hours
Breakfast/lunch/dinner included if needed

However, it's not always easy to find a good one with spaces. We've had 4 in the past 16 years. 1 meh. 1 I considered reporting to Ofsted (house filthy). 1 amazing. And current one even better than amazing.
