I have a nearly 3 yo dd and a nearly 1 yo dd. Whilst pregnant with dd2 I often felt regretful and suicidal. Since having her it has got worse. I feel now like I can’t cope. DD1 goes to a childminders twice a week, nothing for DD2. My house is in disarray. I cannot cope with caring for them what do I do please someone help me.

Hi Tattyteddy2,

Wwe're really sorry to hear you're feeling this way.

We hope you don't mind, but when these threads are flagged up to us we usually add a link to our Mental Health resources. You can also go to the Samaritans website, or email them on [email protected], or call them (free) on 116 123, 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

We also wanted to steer you in the direction of an organisation which could give you some support - PANDAS - Pre- And post-Natal Depression Advice And Support foundation. They have a free (bookable) call back service and can also give support via email and Whatsapp. Please take a look at their website.

We really hope things start feeling a bit easier for you soon.
