Just turned 36 and considering a second child but worried I'm too old

Just that really...I am nervous about being pregnant as I see so much about risks over 35 so want to hear any positive stories or any advice about being 36/37 having another child. My DD is nearly two and I always wanted a 3/4 year age gap. My partner is 40 and is more than happy with Just having 1 but I already waited long enough for him to be ready for DD so don't want to wait much longer if I'm going to go for it!
Anyone else in this situation?

Go for it, 36 is fairly normal these days especially for a second child

I was over 36 when I had my first. I'd say most of my friends have had a child in their late 30s - its completely normal, please dont worry.

Hey not personally had a baby at 35/36, just had baby number 5 at 32, my mum had baby number 5 at 33/34 baby number 6 at 35 and baby 7 at 38, healthy pregnancies all the way through she only had one miscarriage throughout all 7 pregnancies all normal deliveries 👍🏻 go for it xx

I don't think 36 is too old infact I think it's a perfect age ti have a kid ...I had my first at 18 and 2 children at 20yrs, and then had another pregnancy at 30 .you definitely have more patience, and just took, a different approach ,towards being a mum. I really did have more patience because I was older .in the way I thought about life and didn't think going on a walk with the little one was silly but when I was 30 I did go on walks or baby massage groups or sing along when he was 6mth old but I wouldn't of done that at 18yrs old with ny first born. So if you have a stable family and routine 110 percent go for it.and working xxxx
