Ok, too many to list here but to start:
~Went to safeway, discovered when i got there...i had my tatty old slippers on.
~ went on a night out.....with my jumper on inside out (size 14~16 label flapping in the wind)
~tried to leave work with some one elses jacket on the other night.
These are all due to severe sleep deprivation as DS does not sleep at night.
Do you have any as they make me and friends laugh allot!

Nearly walked ds to pre-school the other day with cream flip flops on over black opaque tights! I use the cream shoes around the house, as my feet get cold on our hard floors! Just remembered in time to change my shoes!

Actually when i say it makes me and my friends laugh allot, i meant to say that it makes me giggle BUT it makes my friends laugh AT ME allot!
Im not angling for your stories so that me and my friends can laugh at you all....

God, no, you're not alone. I have been a right airhead since having ds. I used to have a brain before that!

I really could kick myself, but its so very funny. It never fails to make people smile or laugh out loud when i relay my stories so it is worth it.
Secretly i think that loads of people have equally funny stories BUT are too ashamed to reveal them!!!!

When my DS2 was about five months old and not sleeping through I was really scatty, to add to it we had just moved house and I took DS1 to playgroup whilst wearing odd shoes , it took another Mum to point it out to me, was soooo embarrassed.

ive put a new book in fridge and beef under bed spent day looking for meat for tea,

i've put ribena in the washing machine

I posted this the other night but is so batty it deserves a second mention.

I decided I deserved a glass of wine as DS was sorted out and happy, DP was out and I had the house/TV/remote control to myself.

So I pour myself a small glass, I then phase to another planet and return seconds later . . . you can imagine how surprised I was to be standing at the worktop with the milk in my hand and a very cloudy topped up glass of wine. Nice.

Is there such a thing as "preparing formula" fatigue?

I've done a few things except my brain is so dead I don't even remember them!
Have made myself a cup of coffee and put hot, steaming drink in fridge instead of milk carton.
Heated a baking tray in oven - removed with oven glove, put food on tray then proceeded to pick tray up with bare hands and burn my fingers.
I'm sure there are many, many more. Just give me a while and they will come flooding back.

oh yes - the other day I went to the loo. "prepared my clothing" for the deed - ahem! [grin} sat down and very, very, nearly, with a second to spare realised that I hadn't put the loo lid up. Could have been a messy moment!

Let ds walk round sainsburys aged 6 with 2 completely different shoes on none of us noticed til back home at least 1 hr

LOL at these. My Mum has done the weeing without lifting the toilet lid thing and it was messy!

seems to be quite a fashion statment this wearing a pair of odd shoes thing. perhaps we should start a trend. I will.....if you will

I lost my watch, searched high and low in vain, several weeks later I found it - in the fridge!

I once took my godson down the village in his pram, and came home without him! I'd left him outside a shop

Both of these were pre-kids, so I have no excuse!

My friend put a specially made fresh cream cake on top of her car while strapping her Ds in. Got in her car and drove off.
Realised down the road,turned back to see it splattered in the road......THIS im afraid is unforgivable.
You can leave your baby in a cloakroom for 15 mins, you can put odd shoes on your kids,you can place innapropriate items into the fridge but you NEVER EVER mess with fresh cream goods....EVER.
As she was heading to my house for coffee and said cake, i shant be sending her a Christmas card nor shall i be inviting her for coffee ever again.
I MUST STRESS THAT YOU MUST KEEP YOUR WITS ABOUT YOU WHEN CAKES ARE INVOLVED

Here's one of mine (one of many I hasten to add)

When making a cup of tea, I realised the sugar bowl needed a refill. I got the bag of sugar from the cupboard and filled up my MUG with sugar!

I do have many more stories only I am so scatty I have forgotten them all!

Have found potatoes in the freezer. Can't even remember putting them there.

It's funny, cause I was out "with the girls" on Friday night, and we were actually having this "dizzy" moments conversation, when I announced "Erm - it appears I am in the middle of one right now!" and and produced the house cordless phone I had just discovered in my bag.

Would have rung DH who was babysitting to tell him - but...

ive found the TV remote control in my bag before now! How? Why? When?

Got DS ready for gymnastics, put him in the car.. started car and realised I hadn't put the alarm on. Turned off car, got out, got to front door and only then realised DD was still asleep in the cot in her room

(have also put washing up liquid away in the fridge and spent minutes shouting at DH for letting me forget to buy it when we'd obviously run out )

Just after having DD2 (end of November some years ago), I went to the local shop. About half way, I looked down to see that I had rushed out of the house wearing a pair of flip flops - assumed that this was why I was cold. Not looking where I was going whilst walking down the slight slope at the side of the local church and slipped, dress flew up in the air and I landed on my bare bum!!!
I wasn't cold because of the footwear - I had completely forgotten to put any underwear on that morning - as I intended to shower and dress properly when DD went back to sleep.
Made for an interesting smirk from the verger.

Took dd out for a drive the the other night with dp to go see some amazing christmas lights. Just about to get out of car - then jumped back in going "oh no i've got my pj's on i can't get out" dp looked at me as if i was mad. I had remembered to get changed after all and didn't even realise!!!

oh i love this, just giggling away at everyone elses.

Just remember another the other day. ONe of my tyres had been looking a bit flat for a few days - and i have never in my life pumped a tyre at a petrol garage, always get dp to do it.

We stopped in a garage so dp could buy something from shop, as we pulled in i said oh you can pump my tyre for me - he rolled his eyes and said not now and got out of car.

So i thought thats it "girl power" i'll do it myself, took the cap off the tyre (feeling really proud) picked up the diesel pump thinking this seems big, by which point dp is in histerics and disappeared into shop!

I did sheepishly pump my tyres up but didn't feel quite so proud after that, not when this garage also has mechanics also working on cars nearby.
