I'm a horrid mother........

My little boy's 9 months old, and I've just shouted at him so much my throat hurts... it's not the first time either. I'm really tense, and quite down in the dumps at the moment, and I feel so horrible as soon as I've done it. I just can't stop myself from getting cross with him when he does things he shouldn't. I know at this age they don't really understand much of the concept of what no means, and that makes me feel even worse. I know I'll probably get some nasty comments back now, but I just needed to speak to someone......

FGS I am just agreeing that shouting so loudly at a nine month old baby is a sign that she needs help.
Is that wrong?

Is that smug?

Should we be saying "don't worry we all do it"?
this is the sentiment I disagree with.Eventhough we may all lose it sometimes I still think it's dishonest to make out there is nothing to worry about.

I repeat,I dont condemn jellybabe, good for her for seeking help. When you seek help the helper does no good by just saying "there there we all go through it".That will make them feel better but not improve the situation.

Must retire now,g'night.
