2 year old DD something stuck up nose - to wait until Monday for appt

Does anyone have any experience of this? It's not sitting well with me... I thought my little one had a developed a cold at nursery on Thursday when I picked her up. But runny nose was quite brown, I wondered if they had scratched it when wiping it and that's why she seemed upset when I wiped it too. During Thursday and Friday night she has woken up and struggled a bit with blocked nose. Fast forward to this morning, she seemed a bit lethargic and still irritated if you tried to wipe nose and it has started to smell a little. I stupidly assumed it was a bad cold but I I looked right up earlier with a torch and can see the bottom of something dark stuck up her nose. My guess is a raisin but could be a little stone?! Called 111 and they have given us an ENT appointment on Monday. She is crying everytime she touches it by accident , irritable and it smells. Am I wrong to be worried about infection too? It's too far up to try get it ourselves and I tried the mother's kiss thing but she was fighting me off. Any thoughts?

My DS stuck raisins up his nose, I took him to A and E and they used the suction pipes to get them out, we took great delight in counting them out as the pipe was transparent.

So glad it's all sorted.
My dc's were rather partial to sticking things up their noses and it was always impressed on me not to try and hook it out yourself, and not to leave it but seek medical help ASAP.

Dd once pulled the foam covering off the pram handle and shoved a bit up with a second piece. Did the mother’s kiss and it shot out which she thought was fab so continued doing it! Had to use a sticker chart in the end to stop her sticking endless bits of crap up her nose. She never managed an acorn though 😂

That's totally nuts! Glad she's better. 😆
