To working mums, how much "me time" do you get?

Just that, really. I have two pre-school DCs and I work 4 days a week, look after DCs 1 day a week. Weekends I do all the childcare Saturday as DH is out all day with a hobby. Sunday ends up being a family day. I only have my evenings (8-10) as "me" time, but this is usually spent tidying and cooking. I'm exhausted.

I work Mon-Weds and have the kids Thurs and Fri. We pay for them to be in nursery for the full day on Wednesday, but I only work half a day, so I get weds afternoons to myself, which usually ends up being used to do housework and food shopping, but at least I get to do it in the peace and quiet! I also do a gym class 2-3 times a week, which falls at bedtime, so DH will di those bedtimes alone and I'm happy to do some bedtimes alone so he can go off to the gym or whatever.
I don't think either of us would be 100% happy with the other doing a hobby that took us out for a full day every single weekend. Obviously the odd one here and there, but every Saturday seems a lot, I'd hate that.

I have a nearly 3 and a nearly 5 year old and work 5 days from home. Up until this year I had no me time, but I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Now I have the following me time (agreed with husband and he has a reciprocal arrangement on other days.

Monday before work (7-9) I go to gym and he gets kids to nursery,
Tuesday night hubs goes out, so once kids are in bed (7pm) I tidy up and have the rest of the night to myself
Wednesday I have core class at 6pm so hubs does bedtime with kids
thurs I see my friend 7-9pm at gym for gym and jacuzzi (husband has friends over while I’m out)
i normally finish at 4 on Friday and have till half 6 no one at home, so I can do whatever I like (sometimes go for run, sometimes have a nap lol)

I don’t have a lot of me time at weekend as do lots of jobs and spend time with kids, but I’d have plans with friends (people over for drinks or out for a meal) husband is normally fine with letting me have night off, I also don’t mind if he wants a night out from time to time.

most nights I have time for a bath / shower / do nails etc if I want, but often spend the last hour of the day with husband instead of doing something by myself as we both like relaxing together

this is much better than before, but I had to sit down with my husband and make a plan of how we were both gonna have more time to ourselves. As previously we had not been making the most of the time available and has both become a bit miserable

Not a lot at the ment. 3 kids, 2 that are 2yo, and another on the way. With the summer weather, my toddlers are up LATE so I go to bed when they do! Fairly tired as DC4 on the way.

BUT I'm currently drinking acup of tea with my feet up while toddlers have a "picnic" snack on the floor. Sometimes "me time" is where you can find it! I get 2 days a week when I'm at home with toddlers and they still nap for 90 mins or so, but I generally have to use that time for marking. It's the summer holidays soon, so I'm looking forward to no marking, but will probably spend that timewith eldest instead (currently at school).

DH being out EVERY weekend.... well that seems a bit unfair to me. Could you at least suggest 3/4 and then once a month you get some time??? Unless he's a semi-pro I bet he could miss some if he arranged in advance.

I work 3 days currently so have dd 8 months alone 5am-7pm Mondays and Fridays while dh goes to gym then work. I do the gym before work the other 3 days. Dh does football Weds evening and I do pilates Sat morning. Those are our only structured times, really. If I fancy popping out to see a friend or whatever one evening or at the weekend dh accommodates and vice versa.

Same as you evenings 8-10pm, and I also do a half an hour run once a week. That’s it!

I doom scroll mumsnet when I'm stuck on a problem at work but otherwise nothing. I work 50-60 hours a week if possible. 1 preschool and 1 primary DC and I work around their schedule (5-8am then school runs, 9-3, school run, homework, dinner bed, then work 7-11). I also work all evenings at weekends to catch up.

I work 4 days a week (compressed hours), have my son on the 5th day and my husband works varying shifts and only gets 1 weekend off in 5. I'm also knackered and only really have the evenings. Occasionally on a weekend that my husband is off, or on a weeknight when he's home I'll see friends or book a pedicure/hair etc but that's not overly regular. And when he gets the weekend off we like to spend it as a family when we can so it's hard.
