also for the spelling comments I am dyslexic lol
I didn't take offence to them the spelling of Noes has been something my friends have laughed at me at for years :) I think I've spelt it wrong that many times it's built into my autocorrect lol
I also wasn't worrying about spelling was to busy trying to find out what the thing was,
I think it's a flower from the garden, I'll take daughter to GP tomorrow along with the weird black ball lol

You got to sort our your spelling or autocorrect at least. You may not be offended but I am appalled.

That's a very classy response to a bunch of complete arseholes OP.

honeynutcornfllakes · 27/06/2023 02:05

What a bunch of arseholes. You know exactly who you are.

I'd take her to be checked out to be sure there's no more lodged up there, it does look like bits of some kind of grass, weed or flower!

Monotonously · 27/06/2023 02:54

Try cutting it down the middle if you can, it'd be telling.

Why do some ppl feel the need to correct spelling when it's glaringly obvious what the OP means, and it's probably auto corrected 😡

Because they have no manners and it makes them feel clever

It’s a horrible thing to do

Missingmyusername · 27/06/2023 03:37

Eww! I would email that to the G.P, it does look like rotting flower petals.

and you need to get a hobby so non important things in life don't stress you out quite so much Wink

'People who live in glass houses' and all that 😁

It's marvellous when a pedant is shown up like this.

CentrifugalBumblePuppy · 27/06/2023 08:07

It definitely looks flowery (and rotten).

Around 10 years ago my Mum sneezed out a fabric covered button that she remembered pushing up there at around 3/4 years old & the Doctor couldn’t remove, citing she’d sneeze it out soon (it was 1950).

There was no smell, the fabric had mostly perished & was brown & the button’s metal had spots of rust. But you could definitely see what it once was.

63 years of lurking in her left nostril/sinus.

Oddly, Mum has had around 3 head colds throughout my lifetime. Chest symptoms, but never the standard runny nose or congestion. She swears the button has made her immune lol!

OP, I hope you get some answers!

DanceWithYourBalloon · 27/06/2023 08:18

Clover flower?

waterlego · 27/06/2023 13:04

@CentrifugalBumblePuppy that’s amazing! Did your Mum know it was still up there all that time, or had she just assumed it had come out without her noticing?

What a lot of condescending butt holes there are in this thread.

Who gives a w*nk how the OP spelt nose? It was perfectly obvious what was meant, besides which if it was lack of education that caused it - which the rest of the OP's post doesn't support - then it's bloody unkind to scoff. 😡 Go do something useful with your time - like play with the traffic on the M1.

I actually like noe's and I'm going to use it for now on. So there 😁

lockdownmummax · 27/06/2023 14:53

Toddler is fine and it was a decomposed flower that was in her Nose, have no idea how it got up there, she does like to smell flowers...
Dr advised me just to keep an eye out for a fever or discharge from her nose
Toddlers are wonderful and surprise you everyday lol

OP posts:
Missingmyusername · 27/06/2023 15:07

Wow it was a flower, that must be a relief. That’s an exceptional sniffing power she possesses lol!

allthecats1982 · 27/06/2023 15:22

😬 wonder how long it's been up there.

I showed my parents and my dad said- "who NOSE what it is. If it's a flower you need a SNOTanist" to which given a pun and a joke in the same line I rolled my eyes hard enough it hurt.

a1poshpaws · 27/06/2023 15:36

@FireflyJar well, you're not who I referred to, then, are you! It was the superior, stick-up-their-grammatical-bum types who made me furious. So f'ing unkind.

I wish you many joyously used noe's from here to eternity. 👃🍾

Noes/Noe’s isn’t a word?!

loislovesstewie · 27/06/2023 15:53

I knew somebody who asked his GP to investigate why he couldn't breathe properly with one nostril. Out came the forceps. Up the nose they went and out came a pea! He had shoved it up there when about 3,over 25 years later it came out hard as a brick! The moral of the story is, don't shove things up your nose or in your ear. The biggest thing to go in either is your elbow.

Blossomandbee · 27/06/2023 16:00

My DD used to put peas up her nose. After the first time I always knew when she had done it as she would keep sneezing. A sign to watch out for! It's surprising how far things can up out of sight in a little toddler nose!

Noes/Noe’s isn’t a word?!

If you really couldn't glean what the word was by the context of the post there really isn't any help anyone else could give.

Do you get a kick out of being this pedantic?

marshmallowfinder · 27/06/2023 16:41

Lidlpopdrinker · 26/06/2023 22:03

Who noe’s, but better out than in.

incidentally, how did you get ‘noe’s’ passed autocorrect? Mine was not having it at all.

Past. Past. Past. 🙄

eveoha · 27/06/2023 16:55

Of course there is such a word as ’noes’ - it’s used all the time in Parliament and us an essential part of what passes for or purports to be ‘democracy’ ‘AYES TO THE RIGHT - NOES TO THE LEFT ‘ 🙄👍🏿☘️
