Well, there's been some grumbling that we need a nice controversial topic to get us all shouting and venting our stressed out Christmas rage.. maybe this is it!

No it's not a media request, and I'm not researching anything as such. But you have me rumbled!

Yes, I have an ulterior motive for trying to get to hear all sides of the arguements around older parents. I'm sure my friends in RL are sick of discussing the issue with me, and also one tends to have friends with similar views.

I was really looking to hear the possible positives / negatives of being, or having, a (much) older parent. I am in a situation where age may become an issue (cryptic.. I know, sorry!) and wanted to hear as many opposite views to mine as possible so I can re-examine my own opinion.
