At what age did you leave your baby

What age was your baby when you first left them with your partner or family or friends. How long for? Was it just to pop to the shop or for a meal with your friends. Did it make a difference if you were breastfeeding or not? When did having a night away without both parents an option for you?

Any advice welcome please

If it is early days and you are nursing, you also may have to pump when you are out/away! So sometimes if ebf it's just easier to have the early days babe nearby or just wait....

When they are on solids or formula fed, they sometimes sleep through the night easier (fuller...) so overnight could become an option.

If you go to a professional nanny agency for a babysitter, you can sometimes hire quite qualified people who might more easily soothe little ones.

If you currently use a day care, some staff may do baby sitting.

Depends on child and situation...

I left him with his dad maybe at 6 weeks when I went for dinner with a friend. I haven't left him for more than 20 mins with family

6 weeks to go for dinner with some friends. Maybe 2, 2.5 hours. I still haven’t left her overnight and she’s 4.

8 weeks, overnight.

First baby I cried then got over it after my first glass of wine.

Second baby I danced out the door.
