I've done a really stupid thing! dp is away for a week so monday i did all the shopping etc, i've paid all the bills, paid the school, yesterday i was down to my last £5 til i get more money on friday and as the electric was running low i put the £5 on the electric key. Last night I realised I have forgotten ds's SMA milk!!!!! He's got about 2 bottles worth left! Mums at work all day so cant get to my bank dp is in a training centre in the middle of nowhere and the only neighbours we really know are away - Any suggestions??!!!

thanks a million sonnet - I've just sent misdee my address- she is going to put a postal order in the post - you're all so wonderful!! Dont worry about a phonecard misdee, theres not a phonebox in sight!! I've got free texts on my mobile so i can get in touch with dp just not phone him - which is probably a good thing because he'll probably shout at me when i tell him lol!!

With a 5 month old baby in the house forgetfulness is pretty normal!

misdee · 17/11/2004 10:23

well if you ever do forget nappies let me know as DD1 has free nappies and I always have a spare pack

Wallace · 17/11/2004 20:33

Some cash machines have an option to top-up your mobile - all you need to do is enter the mobile number. If you gave some kind person your mobile number, they may be able to top up your mobile using their bank card. I would offer but I am in a very similar situation to you at the moment - dh away, no money etc

Hope things are going okay for you

Gobbledigook · 17/11/2004 20:49

Zeph - you do know this is God getting you back? You wouldn't be in this sticky situation if you breastfed

BTW - quite happy to bung you a tenner in the post if you need it. Don't hesitate.

Gobbledigook · 17/11/2004 20:50

Just in case anyone thinks I'm serious - I'm a bottle feeder and it's a joke!

Gobbledigook · 17/11/2004 20:50

Am serious about the tenner though Zeph.
