I've done a really stupid thing! dp is away for a week so monday i did all the shopping etc, i've paid all the bills, paid the school, yesterday i was down to my last £5 til i get more money on friday and as the electric was running low i put the £5 on the electric key. Last night I realised I have forgotten ds's SMA milk!!!!! He's got about 2 bottles worth left! Mums at work all day so cant get to my bank dp is in a training centre in the middle of nowhere and the only neighbours we really know are away - Any suggestions??!!!

I think the £10 cash deposit wont work in time will it? Know it's cash but they still work on close of business rubbish even in this day and age with computers! I think HV best idea. Don't you like your HV? Why not try them? Otherwise in your situation I think know it might sound a bit crazy but I think I would explain my dilemma to the samaritans they would know who could help surely! Probably benefit office or whatever they are called. Sorry I'm nowhere near Andover and don't know anyone in that area to help out. Whatever you decide I hope it gets sorted out soon.

misdee · 17/11/2004 10:15

just resend me your addy, so i can get a envolope sorted, then will walk down in 30mins or so. u should get it tomorrow.

anorak · 17/11/2004 10:15

zeph I am a bit concerned that you are alone in the house for a week with a 5 month old baby with no friends or family nearby, no transport, no money and no phone you can dial out on! When dp gets back maybe it would be a good idea for the two of you to work out a plan so that you are not ever put in this position again! This time is a mini-crisis, but what if there was a real emergency?

zephyrcat · 17/11/2004 10:16

ok misdee - sending it now thanks

misdee · 17/11/2004 10:18

Sonnet · 17/11/2004 10:19

CAT me your address and the brand of milk your DS has and I'll put a tin in the post to you at lunchtime today - you will get it tomorrow
sonnet xx

zephyrcat · 17/11/2004 10:19

I did think about that this morning anorak. If i was in a real emergency i wouldnt hesitate to bang on anyones door - but i feel a bit of an idiot asking people for help because i was too stupid to remember my own baby's milk!!! I thought i was doing so well!!
