Well U won't get much done but if ur employer is flexible u cld catch up later in the evening or at wkends. I wouldn't want to have to do that all the time though.
I remember coming bk from mat leave and mentioning to my boss if they do another lockdown there's no way I can work with a 1yr old and 3yr old around. She was quite oh I know it's hard but u wld manage, we all had to it at the first lockdown! I think she forgot what it was to have a 1 yr old as her child was 3 so sat next to her on a tablet or colouring etc. It cld be very dangerous to not have ur eyes on a 1yr old at all times.
I tried it for the first time recently as didn't have childcare at the last minute. My youngest was just turned 2 and eldest 4. I didn't last very long. Done about 3hrs over the course of my working day and then done a few more hours at night time but was still down on my usual hours. Eldest one was quite gd but still kept coming over to show me stuff while I was in meetings lol. Youngest kept coming over climbing on me and saying I want a cuddle 😂
