Anything from ceebies is a good place to start. Tik tak, in the night garden (it’s a bit long) moon and me, Hey Duggee.

Tigerchips · 27/03/2021 10:18

Mother Goose Club (sorry in advance)

Eightmagpies · 27/03/2021 10:20

Cbeebies is great - loads of programmes that are about 5 minutes. Tiktak is brilliant - very calming. Teletubbies is a classic.

Lnix · 27/03/2021 14:12

Twirlywoos - fun and is great for some language development x

I miss watching twirly woos!!

Avoid Bing like the plague

Ihaveoflate · 28/03/2021 14:14

My options for time filling in increments go like this (all Cbeebies):

Hey Duggee (7 mins)
Teletubbies (14 mins)
Moon and Me (22 mins)
In the Night Garden (30 mins)

Ihaveoflate · 28/03/2021 14:16

And as pp said, never, ever watch Bing. It will make you want to scratch out your eyes!

idontlikealdi · 28/03/2021 14:17

Baby tv if you have the channel

Itsnoteasyfeelingqueasy · 29/03/2021 14:57

Songs for Littles on YouTube

EmbarrassingMama · 29/03/2021 15:50

I can't believe Bing is allowed to be on TV.

The only place that Bing should be allowed in in a pie
MeadowHay · 29/03/2021 17:24

Gosh my DC is not even 3 and I already struggle to remember what she watched at 1! I thiiink: Twirly Woos, In the Night Garden, Something Special, Teletubbies, Yakka Dee.

PolytheneHam · 29/03/2021 17:37

Hey Duggee

In the Night Garden

Moon & Me

The Clangers

piglet81 · 29/03/2021 17:39

Anything on CBeebies except Bing.

orangejuicer · 29/03/2021 17:42

Baby club is a good option too for that age. (Cbeebies)
Pick something you will tolerate longer term!

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 29/03/2021 20:06

Thanks everyone! Really helpful. Whats wrong with Bing?!

OP posts:
Pinkflipflop85 · 29/03/2021 20:13

Cbeebies is the best.

Bing is a dick.

Lnix · 29/03/2021 20:13

Bing is incredibly irritating...not least because he says loads of words wrongly, which I hate!

Toottootdrivers · 29/03/2021 20:15

I have an 18 month old. He loves Teletubbies and Moon and Me. We also watch Hey Duggee, but I probably like it more than he does!

Clevs · 29/03/2021 20:29

Peppy Pig, Shane the Chef and Ben & Holly are favourites in our house.

elephantasia · 29/03/2021 20:46

All the ceebeebies as mentioned above

Super simple songs on you tube and Dave and Ava

polarisation · 29/03/2021 21:14

The Clangers!! Lovely music, looks beautiful, interesting stories, and nobody is ever deliberately badly behaved and they always apologise and fix their mistakes.

RedMarauder · 29/03/2021 21:43

Also Mr Tumble who turns up in random CBeebie programs and on YouTube.

There are lots of nursery rhymes on YouTube but make sure you watch them before you let your little one do so you can find your favourite version (and avoid some Aussies who wear brightly coloured clothes or dressing up outfits.)

KineticSand · 29/03/2021 22:15

Just put CBeebies on live and watch whatever, while they are 1 and not yet expressing opinions on viewing choices. All the CBeebies programmes are thoughtfully made and promote good values as well as being beautiful and fairly bearable for her adults. Apart from Bing obviously.
