It's a Bing thing.
No it isn't. Fuck OFF

Octonauts is my favourite. I got very excited when there was a special feature length episode on yesterday morning. DS likes it because there's a penguin. Win win.

Big fan of Hey Duggee, In The Night Garden, and Something Special. As PP have said, pick ones that you can tolerate as otherwise they will grate incredibly quickly. On that note if there are a lot of episodes it will help (you).

I also dislike Bing. He is given no boundaries and everyone else - including his friends - have to bend to his whim. I, irrationally hate the bit in the intro where he trips and his carer asks if he's ok and the friend laughs and says 'he's alright'.

I also dislike Peppa Pig.

Bing is so bad. It tricks you because it doesn't seem bad on the surface but if ever it was on I swear I'd be raging inside.

Hey dugge is elite ❤️

At 1 my twins loved Something Special, Twirly Woos and Teletubbies. My DS was also obsessed with Small Potatoes and still is at 2.5.

Bing is an entitled bad mannered brat. Always wining and complaining until everything goes his way. There's an episode where he refuses the toilet even though he needs to go. Then he wees the floor and his carers are all "It's okay Bing. You couldn't help it" Even though he very much could help it. Gets me everytime.

Potterythrowdown · 30/03/2021 07:24

Bing is the worst. I'm just waiting for the episode when Flop completely loses it and cracks open the wine at 3pm.

Within the world of Bing though, I think Pando is actually more of a dickhead than Bing.

He always breaks and ruins things and goes around in those awful Y fronts. Put some trousers on Pando.

I really don’t think a 12m old needs any screen time.

JOKE Grin Another vote here for Hey Duggee and In The Night Garden, my 10m old loves them

New episodes of Duggee started yesterday, fyi!

Msfoxy17 · 30/03/2021 21:17

Whoa! New episodes of Duggee. Amazing! I'll (we'll) be watching in the morning. We must have watched each episode a thousand times. I was quite sad when my DD went off it - was only a bri2f pause though!
We used to watch a lot of Super Simple Songs.

Spillanelle · 30/03/2021 21:23

CBeebies have some good ones, I tried to pick out the ones that were vaguely educational.

Yakka Dee is a good one for language development

My DD is obsessed with numberblocks and now loves counting.

She also loved Mr Tumble/Something special at that age and picked up a few signs from it which was really helpful.
