Where did your baby sleep on the day?

We have a one bedroom flat. We have a crib for the bedroom, but I am trying to workout where baby will sleep in the day. People say Moses baskets don't last long? But then Sleepyheads are reccommended by the Lullaby Trust. Second time mums what did you do?

The carrycot for our pram was safe for overnight sleeping so we used that instead of a Moses basket to save space. She also napped on us and sometimes in her Baby Bjorn chair.

DS1 had a bouncer similar in design to the Bjorn - most bouncers I see nowadays are too upright to nap in, though.

DS2 napped in the pram top (carrycot) and when he got too big for that, we got a small rectangular playpen on wheels where the base was raisable like a cot and he loved that, just used to chill out in there all day basically until he was rolling and trying to sit.

My DS used to fall asleep on the breast and would happily snooze on the breastfeeding pillow. I would either smudge him sidewards from me so he was on the long bit of our L-shaped sofa, or get him nestled on the play mat.
We did bring Moses basket downstairs at first but it got tiring to be constantly up & down stairs with it every day. Eventually we brought the bassinet from the pram in, and this was also used for many naps on the go or when I used to actually go visit my family & friends (pre-covid, remember those glory days?!).
Our DS is 90th centile in weight but he managed in the Moses basket next to our bed for 5 months. Think we had a slightly larger than usual basket (mamas & papas grey wicker one, it is lovely).

Just to confirm I then was sat with our ds while he snoozed on the bf pillow. I used to nip to the kitchen to get a cup of tea & snack but he was never left long.

Once grown out of Moses basket and rolling off the settee in cot in my bedroom. Yes he napped in a separate room from me! 🙄
