We went to Clark's today and had his feet measured, so they said he's a 7 but do to the fit, they suggest getting a 7 1/2. He will be 2 at the end of January.

It just seems like he's got quite big feet, he's a tall boy, loves his food but very slim as he never sits still i suppose (50th percentile but somewhere in the 90s for height). Reading my own post makes me realise that it's probably in proportion lol

My 10.5lb DD2 is now only a size 10 aged 7.

My DD1 (10lb) had such tiny feet, I struggled to get her first walking shoes for her. I could only get oram shors. She is now aged 11 and an adult size 6. She is also head and shoulders above her peers in height.

I had the biggest feet and was the tallest in my year until I was 13 and everything stopped.

It's all so variable!

My almost 3 year old is a size 9! She’s very tall for her age though.

Mine was 2 in Sept. He’s been in a 7 since shortly before his 2nd birthday. His wellies are an 8 actually. He sounds a similar shape to yours. He’s average weight (50th centile ish) but 90-something centile for height.

2beautifulbabs · 12/12/2020 21:33

My 3 almost 4 year old is 8.5 almost 9.
My 21 month old is size 6

Liland · 12/12/2020 21:34

Mine is 2 in January and size 8.5 feet. Tall and slim (75th for height and 9th for weight). Not sure what the feet are about, but didnt realise they were that huge until I read the responses here. His dad is tall with amusingly small feet, I'm short with size 5.

naomi81 · 12/12/2020 21:41

DD IS 23 months and is a 6 1/2

TheMagicDeckchair · 12/12/2020 21:46

DD will be 3 shortly and wears sizes 8-9 depending on make/fit. She’s a tall girl, around 80th centile for height. She has a tall dad with size 13 feet!

Snowpaw · 13/12/2020 08:11

25 months and in size 8s. She has been 99 percentile for height and weight since birth and seems to have large feet compared to my friends babies. I felt like I was constantly buying shoes at one stage - she grows so fast!

My 2 year old was a 7.5 a few months ago need to get him remeasured he is tall too 90th percentile

LiG123 · 13/12/2020 08:17

22 months here so not much between our children

He has size 6 and a half

To me looking at shoes there is a massive jump between 6 and 7 aswell.

Dd2 was a 4 when she started school at 4. Her sister was a 5, at 2 we were struggling to find hard bottom shoes to fit because they were early walkers but tiny (proportionate). Dd1 still has very small feet (3) as an adult and Dd2 is 4 as am I

fastandthecurious · 13/12/2020 09:48

2 year old is a size 7/8. He's not long turned 2.
He was a size 4 when we got him measured in clarks when he walked at 10 months. He's a tall child

Changechangychange · 13/12/2020 09:51

5 at 20 mo, 6 at 2.5. He’s 9th centile though, so I’d expect most kids to be more like 6/7.

NatashaAlianovaRomanova · 13/12/2020 09:59

DD2 had tiny feet still does she was only a 5.5E when she started school at almost 6 at 2 she was still pretty much barefoot or had the soft baby shoes as "proper shoes" started at a 2 & were like boats on her feet - she also got a good 6 months to a year out of a size.

DD1 was also on the small side & was a 3 at age 2, DS was a size 8 at 2 - he cost me more in shoes than both girls put together!

soughsigh · 13/12/2020 13:38

Haha, I write his shoe size in my little memory book so I would be able to answer the question in 30 years 😂. I'm a bit sad though.

He is just growing out of size 7 at 26 months, he's been in them since he was about 2. He's 91st centile.

Swaddleblanket · 14/12/2020 14:35

Just turned 2 this month and he’s size 8.5. He was a 7 when we got him measured for his first shoes this time last year
