What size feet was / is your toddler at 2 years old?

We went to Clark's today and had his feet measured, so they said he's a 7 but do to the fit, they suggest getting a 7 1/2. He will be 2 at the end of January.

It just seems like he's got quite big feet, he's a tall boy, loves his food but very slim as he never sits still i suppose (50th percentile but somewhere in the 90s for height). Reading my own post makes me realise that it's probably in proportion lol

Mine had huge feet - he's now 6 foot and size 11 feet

DS turned 2 last week and is in size 8 shoes!

RosesAndHellebores · 12/12/2020 13:30

I have just looked at their first shoes from Clarke's. DS was a 4; DD 3.5 but that would have been at about 15 months. At 2 about size 5/4.5 sticks in my mind for their first shoes. They were both wide.

They are grown up now. DD is 5ft3 and a size 3.5 and DS is 5ft11 and a size 10!

3yo DS is a 9, was probably about a 7.5 at 2. He's 102cm now and has always been tall/big feet. We struggled to find shoes that fit for a while due to him still having the high bridge that babies have on his foot when his feet were bigger kid sized.

Thanks everyone, it just shows that as in every other aspect of their nature, they are all so different but all equally perfect.

I asked my mother and she was like, do you really think I remember what size shoes you wore at the age of 2 which is now pretty much 30 years ago, we both had a giggle x

My 16mo is in 6G and my 2.5yo is in 10G. He has much bigger feet than she ever did at the same age so I anticipate he will be in a 10 before he’s 2. I’m 6ft 1 with size 8s and husband is 6ft 2 with size 14s though so was always going to breed slightly giant children 😂

SquishSquashSqueeze · 12/12/2020 13:41

My just turned 2 year old needs his feet measuring again, was a size 7 about 10-12 weeks ago

fee1234 · 12/12/2020 13:42

18 mo DS is a 7

He's on 75th centile

GiveMeAllTheGin8 · 12/12/2020 13:44

My two and a half year old is on a size 8! Older dd was also a size 8 at two .
Both very tall ( I’m 6 ft and so is my husband )

Dinosauratemydaffodils · 12/12/2020 13:49

Dd is an 8 at 2 and a half. She's tall. I'm 5'8 with 5 and half size feet, suspect she's going to be taller and bigger footed than me.

larrythelizard · 12/12/2020 14:11

My not quite 18mo has size 6 feet but is in age 2 clothes from most places so is a big lad!

Harrysmummy246 · 12/12/2020 14:46

DS is 3 1/2 on xmas eve. He's currently in 9.5 wide fit....

He is however very tall for age

randomsabreuse · 12/12/2020 14:56

My 5.5 year old is in 10.5. Kids definitely come in a variety of sizes!

Pinkywoo · 12/12/2020 15:10

DS is only 50th centile but has huge feet like his dad, he was a 4.5 G on his first birthday so who knows what he'll be by two!

AWryGiraffe · 12/12/2020 16:13

My daughter is 2 in Jan, she's a size 5 at the moment.

ramblingsonthego · 12/12/2020 16:32

My nearly 4 year old (4 at end of Jan) is a size 11 feet and 112cm tall. She has always been a giant though.

harrietm1987 · 12/12/2020 16:35

2.5 year old DS is an 8. He’s 95th centile for height.

tempnamechange98765 · 12/12/2020 20:00

My DS is 21 months and size 6.5-7. He has bigger feet than my older DS who is super tall and has size 11.5 at the age of 4!

Sandytoes86 · 12/12/2020 20:04

My 2.5 ds is a 8 and his 4.5 yo sibling is a 9. DS1 is average weight and height

Peasbewithyou · 12/12/2020 20:09

My DS is 2 and size 8. My two DDs were much smaller at that age! My eldest was only size 9 when she started school at almost 5!

So yes it’s on the large size but totally fine! I am tall and have size 9 feet and so suspect DS is taking after me. He is tall and broad and has been since birth.

Changedmynameagain1 · 12/12/2020 20:13

Ds is nearly six he’s only an 8.5 😊🤣😊🤣

luckymagnoliatree · 12/12/2020 20:52

DS1 is a size 7.5 at 4yrs 5mths and DS2 is size 4.5 at 2yrs. DS1 is on the small side though and DS2 is rapidly catching him up in height!

Boringnamechanging · 12/12/2020 21:08

My just turned dd is a 6.5 in startrite which would be a 7 in Clark's

Coolhand2 · 12/12/2020 21:11

He sounds like my son, will be 2 January 30, he is size 6, about to move to 7, his snowboots are 7. He is tall and slim but likes to eat.

Wigglegiggle0520 · 12/12/2020 21:18

3 year old is a size 8 probably fitting a 9 now actually. Very tall and slim.
