Too much

Madmarchpear · 15/11/2018 22:39

120 each. They're 3 and 5.

purpleme12 · 15/11/2018 22:39

I don't keep a track. I've only got one.
But I don't buy them all at once or anything. I buy them when I see stuff and all spread out. Last year when I got them all together and made a list out of curiosity I was shocked to see id spent more than £100! There were quite a few little things in there. It all added up. Some were and will be fun charity shops too

Depends, somewhere between £100-150.

It might be more if they were getting something expensive and useful like a bike or a musical instrument but that’s unusual.

MamaHechtick · 15/11/2018 23:01

£150-£200 each. They will be 5 and 6.

Hellothere0 · 16/11/2018 14:42

£100-150 roughly

Nettle80 · 16/11/2018 15:52

Thanks everyone! Apparently I’m spending far too much 😕

Why, what are you spending?

Ohyesiam · 16/11/2018 16:11

About £150, they are 11 and 13.

frogsbreath · 16/11/2018 16:11

£210. It really doesn't look much of a pile 'cos much of it's Lego. DS (6)

blackcat86 · 16/11/2018 16:12

£50 but then she'll only be 4 months old so she doesn't need much.

TrueWierdness · 16/11/2018 16:14

Roughly £150 each - they're 9 and 7.

BettyOBarley · 16/11/2018 16:14

About 200 on DD and 150 on DS (he's only 2). That doesn't include stockings.

It's all relative though isn't it, if you can afford it and are happy to spend it, do it! Smile

Echobelly · 16/11/2018 16:20

£0. But about £20 each for Hanukkah.

Naughty1205 · 16/11/2018 16:25

I'd say about 200 each. I buy when I see something and put it away then when I haul everything out on Christmas eve I realise how much I've spent 😮

Chiamaka111 · 16/11/2018 16:45

Not much i spend like £20-30 each for xmas and more on their birthdays

Bombaybunty · 16/11/2018 16:56

Only have 1 DS. He's 16.
We'll probably spend about £500.

neversleepagain · 16/11/2018 16:58

Between £150-£200 each. They're 6.

hendricksy · 16/11/2018 17:00

Probably about £3/400 each . They are 7 and 15... we can easily afford it and they know the value of money .

LettuceP · 16/11/2018 17:03

Between £100-£150 each

Babysharkdododo · 16/11/2018 17:04

About £20-30 each, but they are both preschoolers so don't really have extravagant wish lists and we spend a lot on them through the year.

Jackshouse · 16/11/2018 17:04

£100 on 2.5 year old DD. Lots of things from charity shop, sales and Aldi.

But my parents have spent about £100 on her, mostly of learning resources so a few good quality things, and PIL will buy her a scooter.

EradicatetheDoubt · 16/11/2018 17:05

About £60 on presents for 1 DC & £20 on the stocking.

No plastic tat.

Thirtyrock39 · 16/11/2018 17:06

Aim for £50 per kid - stockings and main present combined usually ends up being about £70

mamaduckbone · 16/11/2018 17:07

Between £100 and £200 depending on the year xx
