Hmm, i havent got a clue as to what sort of nappies i will use, am thinking i like the sound of washable because would surely be a more breathable material. i did try asking about nappies in prenancy but got told to come here!

you guys seem to know a fair bit about this and was looking for some advice please

I am only 10+1 weeks and know that really this is too early and may change my mind in 30weeks but like to be organised

Have you been in touch with a local nappy agent who can come to your house and give a demo, so you get to have a feel etc. of different types?

Have a look at the nappy finder to find your local one.

I just wanted to add to Flame?s brilliant advice that I think cloth nappies just smell different to disposables. I think the smell better because they haven?t got that chemical smell. But any nappy only stinks when you?ve left it a while. When they?re ?fresh? they?re OK. That?s why I ahte having disposables hanging around for two weeks in the rubbish! Yuk!

And with cloth you flush poo away, so you never have poo in your bag. If you want to, use disposables when you go out, and cloth at home, at least until your comfortable with cloth. That?s what a lot of people do anyway!

Using cloth isn?t all or nothing. You can still use disposables when it suits!!
