CeeBeebies programmes for babies

This terrible parent would like to know which programmes your babies like to watch so I can plonk my 4mth old in front of them and have five minutes to scratch my arse.
Only Teletubbies has caught his beady eye so far.

Your help (and silence) in this matter is much appreciated.

From 6 months DD has loved The Wiggles - an Australian group that sings children's songs. Good quality stuff is on their YouTube channel. The Wiggles still help me get the tea cooked most evenings now she is 14 months. Although she is now obsessed with Peppa Pig and shouts 'Pep!' at the TV all the time....

My seven month old loves Alvin and then chipmunks think it’s the voices 😂😂

I’ve got the Disney app it £6 a month can access all the Disney films tv shows etc also helps we have Netflix to watch babybum which is songs and nursery rhymes

Ds was transfixed by Waybuloo as a baby. It’s also quite long. Baby Jake was another early hit but that only gave me 12 minutes of precious time!

There is no shame in cracking out the flickering Christmas lights this early in the name of baby entertainment.

Strictly come dancing! Mine wiggled to the music and loved the colours!

MyGastIsFlabbered · 14/11/2017 06:33

I’d see if I could get some Baby Einstein DVDs...they’re absolutely mindless but my two loved them!

djlemon · 14/11/2017 07:22

Someone mentioned little baby bum on Netflix, that’s the earliest one I remember my dd loving, the animation is so basic and crap but it’s also nursery rhymes so I kind of felt a bit better about her watching it for some reason.

Oh also it’s not episodic it’s just like an hour of non stop singing.

At that age I used to put DD in front of the news. She thought the news reader was talking to her.

Baby jake was wierdly mesmerising around that age I seem to recall.

Pretty much anything here. DS2 used to get weirdly excited when The Chase and the No-No advert came on. Confused

EvilDoctorBallerinaRoastDuck · 14/11/2017 10:29

Miaow I can still do that with DD 10! She was knackered all last week, then we had a busy weekend, I got her in bed for 6.50 last night! She said it felt very early! 😂

At 4 months my dd didn't engage with TV enough to keep her entertained. Hope you have better luck! What I did instead was have several different seats to move her around. Bouncy chair, couple of activity chairs (like the jumperoo but smaller), bumbo. She's tolerate 5 mins in each and I'd move her around them so I could make a sandwich or something.

Once a baby starts enjoying Mr tumble, life gets a little bit easier!
