I've contacted ebay.co.uk to complain and point out the difference from the US position (I signed the petition too, but now that ebay.com has backed down that may fizzle out). I shall not be using ebay or PayPal while this stupid policy remains in place.

I have just had another of my listings for bamboozles removed. Ebay had left it running after they removed my fuzzi bunz listing even after I'd contacted them about why they had removed it. I am so pissed off as they were due to finish today. Just incase anyones interested I will be listing the nappies I'm selling on mumsnet later today when I get the chance. I am so pissed off with ebay. Odd thing is my bumble is still up there! Hope everyone else has emailed ebay to tell them how stupid they are being.

Did you have a bidder tutu? You could contact them via ebay maybe?

I was selling a larg fuzzi bunz. I've put some of my nappies up for sale on here now.

I've had a reply from ebay.co.uk saying that there isn't an "adult content" issue, but that they do not allow the sale of used nappies because they are classed as used underwear and ebay doesn't allow the sale of that "strictly for hygiene reasons" because human waste has been in contact with it.

I have replied asking why this differs from the ebay.com policy and also pointing out the general bonkersness of it (apart from anything else, plenty of baby clothes that aren't nappies will have been pooed on at some point, baby poo being what it is, but I don't see ebay banning the sale of used baby clothes).

But I'm not particularly hopeful.

When ebay removed my listing today the reason they gave as to why was due to the items adult nature, so they are still suggesting it's a sexual reason. I just wish they'd bloody make their mind up and clearly state why you can not sell used nappies on ebay.
