Whats the difference between Wham-Bamboo and Bamboozles?

I love my bamboozles, but need to get some more nappies. Have heard several people raving about Wham-bamboo on MN and was wondering what the difference between the 2 is, and which one is better. The only problem I'm having with my bamboozles is that some of them seem to have shrunk, and this means that the soft part of the aplix on the wings rubs on my sons hips and makes them a bit red.

I have wambamboos and the tabs are really long on them so even round my large 15month old they still have alot of 'growinto' room.

They are really slim as someone else said, all his tighter trousers fit with them, as slim as disp.

My DS has just become really wriggly too and I have found that the easiest way to get them on him is to lay the liner on the main part of the nappy, put it under his bum then fold up the liner over his willy, fold the booster in half and quickly put that over his willy ontop of the liner and quickly wip the front of the nappy up, tabs round and nippa. Sorry - that seems really complicated but do you see what I mean?! Sometimes works. I also give him a toy while I do it.

They do pink, blue and cream colour so not a huge range.

I use motherease airflow wraps and they are nice and loose round the nappy but really adjustable round his waist and legs (good if you have a big waisted baby with skinny legs or vice versa).

Where's a good site to get WBBs?

LRWG · 03/11/2006 11:13

www.geobel.co.uk

Dragonhart · 03/11/2006 12:12

If you are going to buy more than one this site is a bit cheaper with free delivery.

Dragonhart · 03/11/2006 12:14

Ment to say that it is worth looking on the geobel website to see if your council offer and insentive scheme and you can use vouchers with them. here

LRWG · 03/11/2006 13:08

My council weren't listed and don't really seem to advertise their incentive scheme for some reason, so it may be worth giving your council's environmental department a call if not listed!

Dragonhart · 03/11/2006 13:30

Mine are not there either, I had to email my council for them to give me a number to ring. Lots of hassle but got a good deal on tots size one, wraps and afew accessories like a bucket, net bag and disp liners. Also can get a discount on nappy laundering service. Was worth it in the end. I think they all do them in some form.

LRWG · 03/11/2006 13:33

I'd LOVE a nappy laundering service (although washing not as bad as I'd thought) but there isn't one in my area

nappyaddict · 11/01/2007 00:24

i put the booster between the nappy and wrap so it can't be moved when ds wriggled. i have babaloos and i love love love them!

bumbleweed · 12/01/2007 20:12

tutu, my bamboozles that I bought last summer shrunk in the wash - I sent them back to totsbots and they replaced them no quibbles - they had some problems with fabric supply last year and they must have been out of that batch

tutu100 · 12/01/2007 20:41

Thanks bumbleweed did you need a receipt or anything? and Did you contact Tots directly?

I bought from nappylady and so emailed her - she forwarded my email to tots and said if they arent helpful get back to her, but they were helpful, they needed to see the receipt when I sent them back, and threw in a free nappy for the inconvenience
