Reuseable pull ups?

DD is not a fan of nappies at the moment, or clothes for that matter, so to save the fighting I'm wondering about pull ups.

My colleague at work said she is going to buy some Flip pull-ups because you can still boost them so they are effectively nappies.

I don't think DD is ready for potty training, she doesn't appear to have any concept of wees at all, so I need to stay with the nappies in some form for the moment! Has anyone used pull ups that are as absorbent (or nearly) as a normal nappy?

There is a MN review page on the Flip and it looks really good.

I am using the BG training pants. I really rate them.

Thanks all. I have some Flip nappies and they are good, but they are poppers so require some cooperation from DD! Might give one pull up a try, see how long before everything gets soaked Grin

GroVia training pant? It has a pocket to add absorbency for naps/night so I assume you could just use that all the time.

If she's trying to pull them off, she clearly doesn't want them on. So do credit her intelligence and let her know that you know she doesn't like them, but you need her to wear them to catch her wees and poos otherwise she'll make the carpet /her clothes etc wet/covered in poo. However, if she can copy you and go on the potty when you go on the loo, and see if she can get a wee or poo in the potty you'll be really pleased and if she can keep doing that then you'll let her go without. See if she can. She might not have the concept of wees but I bet it won't take her long to work it out if you help her. Babies are IMO, far more intelligent than we give credit for.
(Don't forget that in the 60s the average age for PT was less than 18 months, I've photos of me in pants and dresses around this time of year as I was helping my dad in the garden and the trees are barely in full leaf so I was only just over 1)
