Right - next question!

As the Wambamboo wraps aren't available yet, which wraps would you recommend. Want something that will be as leak/wick proof as possible , as I don't want to get put off using them by a soggy baby.

Also, which are the best liners for DD? Obviously, I want something that'll keep as much of the moisture as possible away from her little bottom!

Thanks in advance.

Bump - is this compression dampness or a dodgy second hand wrap?

Ta muchly

Dampness from a ME wrap???

Noooo - that's not a good sign. Those babies are meant to be waterproof. That sounds like either some of the nappy was poking out (or the label from the wrap), or you've got a dodgy wrap that's been tumbled...

What size wraps are you using? If you're on small still I have a couple that I sell ya cheap?

Since you're buying new anyway... wacky wrap

Sooo soft and it has a waterproofy middle - just chuck one in amongst the airflow order

Thank you yet again FlameSparrow - you are my Nappy Fairy

now I just need to convince RL people of that and I could make millions

littlepiggie · 29/09/2006 19:48

you convinced me, got 6 wbb yesterday and love them, they are so slim and soft

iris66 · 02/10/2006 20:24

Flame - it seems the word is out - I've just got my second order of Wambamboos and think they are the fabbiest nappy ever. Lovely and slim (so no probs with having to buy extortionately priced cloth nappy accommodating clothes any more) with nice long tabs too. I'd say they are as slim as disposables. They are so great!!!!!! Just made a load of fleece liners for them too out of the free blanket in this months Mother & Baby mag.

Oooh will go buy M&B

lrwg · 05/10/2006 09:10

Right - FINALLY ordered some WBBs

Now for the dumb question (whispering to try and hide stupidity): What else do I need to get?

My list includes:
Nappies
Wraps
Bucket with lid
Fleece and/or disposible liners

So, what obvious thing have I missed - there's bound to be something

Thanks ladies

Pretty much it really... if you are planning on soaking then a net for the bucket is good, but I just dry pail.

Some tea tree oil is good to sprinkle in the bucket and freshen it up a bit.
