which wraps???

I have got some one life cloth nappies but unsure where to go from here. What wraps, liners are best, how do i pad them for night?
seen a lot about other kinds, but nothing about one life.

One Life are like Motherease onesize aren't they?

I find Motherease Airflow wraps excellent for all types of cloth nappy. The poppers are great as little fingers don't try to open them like they do velcro. Poppolini vento wraps are the same but cheaper and made in EU instead of canada.

Airflows are great, but can rub. For softer/more breathable I go for fleece or wool. Woollywraps are my fave, but pricey. Bumsnugglers do lovely fleece. Wacky wraps are like a cross between fleece and PUL so less pressure dampness.

Liners - fleece rectangles work best for me. Boosters - either fold a microfibre cloth (99p from tesco), or buy them - I like mother of eden boosters (from babykind)

Motherease Airflow are great, but if you are using nippa fastenings on your nappies or terry squares, I find the Motherease Rikki (velcro fastening) holds everything in place a bit better!

I've never had any problem with the nippas on tots with airflow - agree with the terry squares though.

I think it's because most of my nappies are Bamboozles, and the nippas don't always grip the material too well!

Nippas are stretchy little plastic grippy things you use to fasten cloth nappies - instead of a safety pin.

nappi nippas are updated pins - do a google! Don't think you'll use em on One Life nappies.
BTW my fave wraps are Bummi, don't like Tots Bots but Motherease velcro are fine too tho I do get red marks on DD2s chubby thighs....
Why not try a few to start with in the smallest size and then decide which ones you like best before ordering the next size up?
You only need about 5 wraps in each size I reckon.

think i like the idea of fleece, but worrid about leeks.
Only tried onelife nappies with plastic pants(all i could find at boots yesterday) and thought they wear a bit sweaty.

eww no - seen those, they are horrible.

Only get dampness with fleece if the nappy is sodden, and/or if it is being squished by tight trousers/car seat etc.

Slight hijack, but seeing as you are the expert, where do you suggest I buy wambamboo from? I am feeling tempted after all your posts.

Back on topic, I like airflow wraps too, but also like couche wool covers for night time.

am getting all confused now with a welsh wrap and talk of leaks!!
littlepiggie, if you are new to MN then ignore the bat he's always crashing threads.
the plastic pants sound awful. go to a real nappy seller and order a few wraps to try, they could prob post them tomorrow...
my washer is broken and I've run out of small wraps so DD2 going commando til a fat bedtime nappy can fill a medium!

Also, if you are near a Waitrose, they have the white airflow wraps in their baby section .

not sure of sizes without looking - can someone with two free hands post a link to a seller please?
the cloths are microfibre cleaning cloths and are about a pound for 3. they are great for boosting night nappies as very light and absorbant. also nearly dry straight from machine. i put two in a fluffle or bamboozle and they go 14 hours.

If you are going for airflows, then get a medium wrap I would say. Most things are probably still medium for you.

babykind is great for starting out - they build you a trial pack thing and everything (I think)
