I was just wondering at what age most children stop needing to be put in a buggy. i was thinking about trying for another baby in a year or so which would mean there would be just over 2 yr gap.
The thought of manoeuvering a double buggy is a bit off putting!!!

No problem, I spent ages looking at loads of websites for buggys, then I came across that site...... and the shop is based in my town!!! Spooky.
My buggy was the cheapest from there too, all that time and it was right on my doorstep!

I must admit I like it as well..! we are expecting baby2 in jan07 and dd will be 20 months and I keep hinting to dh that we will need a new pram ...its a musssstttt..!!

Typical though I like the blue, although it's shown on the main website I'm sure I have read somewhere that its not avilable...?? Sods law. .

Angeliz, don't forget to tell us what the city twin was like. I love it as well and am half way to convincing dh..LOL..!

But I think I may struggle testing it as don't think there is anywhere local esp with it being so new. Let us know how easy it was to fold and if it's heavy and how you find it to steer and about doorway size..Don't ask for much do I. ..

Website is very positive about it but then again I suppose it will be..!

Angeliz have you seen the pram yet..? I want to order one but need to see what you thought of it first...

Hi all, after some browsing i found this It looks funky and quite sporty. Then when i was at Mothercare world i saw a couple using one, i got chatting to them and had a push of theirs, it was fantastic! I think i might have to give it a go. LO due March 11th, when DD1 will be 14 mths old...!

Late comment here I know, but as far as I'm concerned I have found the Phil & Ted's E3 to be my right arm and leg (i.e. very useful). It's no bigger than a single 3 wheeler, and the doubles seat can be popped on the top to make it a "single" for baby if toddler decides to walk (without taking him out if you are feeling adventurous). Mine are 12 mths and 28mths at present. I'm sure I'll have at least another year's use. You never need to push an empty seat.

The only downside is that the extra seat is not very comfortable for baby once he stops lying down (it doesn't recline) but we seem to have managed and now he's happy to sit up and doesn't flop so much when dozing.

I think it depends on the toddler and how much you feel you will use a buggy and for how long.
There is exactly 2.5 years between DS and DD and I never bought a double buggy because we never really walk that much apart form to the local shops or whatever and DD tended to walk that anytway so I bought a buggy suitable from birth for trips out as well as the big pram and used a sling. I can put DS in the buggy and DD can walk but if she gets tired can stick DS in the sling and DD in the buggy. Although most of the time I end up using the sling and no buggy.

I just could not justify the cost weh DD tended to walk anyway and only took the buggy for longer days out adn also I nkew that DS would still need a buggy long after DD didn;t so I just found an alternative rather than pay out again later
