How do you entertain a 12 week old???

OK, I'm not meant to leave BabyDragon under a babygym for fear of flattening her perfect head and it's physically impossible to carry her around in the sling all day. How on earth am I meant to be entertaining her?? I can't remember! With DS1 it didn't seem to be an issue, DS2 got lugged around all of DS1s activities and now, nearly 5 years since I last had a 12 week old to entertain I'm utterly clueless :o

I think DSs both spent a lot of time asleep but BabyDragon is a completely different kettle of soup.

Oh, and wanted to agree with others over the washing machine. Bouncy chair plus washing machine is the holy grail of baby-entertainment.

Mine is 11weeks soupy and although I know I'm not meant to yet I let him have a little play in the Tigger that we got given - it's one of those bouncy swing things you put in the doorframe. He is also over a stone in weight and has really good head control. I only let him have a few mins but it's enough to wear him out for a bit.

Have you thought about taking him swimming? My ds loves it and he sleeps for England when we come out.

Funnily enough, I tried her in the door bouncer a couple of weeks ago and had to put a box underneath. Didn't seem overly impressed - the boys used to love it. And yes, we go to swimming lessons every week but that only covers 30 minutes and (Grrrr) doesn't wear her out like it used to do with DSs!!

Haven't tried the washing machine... means sticking her in the utility room but if it entertains her what the heck :o

Thanks.
