Just waiting for my scan now to see if little lady has grown. Bet she's huge now.

Was awake half the night last night just wide awake for no reason so am so tired. Had a few period pains too that were a bit sore but then nothing this morning.

How are you both?

Not phoned the dr yet. Am assuming the results won't be in yet, although I spoke to my mum about it yesterday and told her about the blood test and she said they should have had them straight back yesterday and I should have them first thing.
Think I'll ring about 10/10.30.

Well, I had some good news this morning. Our big tree that came the other day, we ordered from a shop off eBay.
When it came it was bloody lovely, but when I went to put the top on, it was so heavy, the pole that goes into the part below snapped. I emailed them and said it was already broken and could they send me another one.

I'd already been messed around with the delivery of the first one so I already had opened a case against them and they wouldn't answer me about sending me a new top.
Tbh, it was a £170 tree and for that I was not prepared the bodge it ourselves even though rob could. It's got a hollow metal tube running up the middle so rob just needs to out a solid metal rod up inside it or something.
Anyway, they asked me to close the case and didn't mention about sending me another top.
So last night I emailed eBay for a refund and low and behold this morning I got an email saying they are favouring me and I will get a full refund in the next 48 hours!! Happy Christmas to us!

I was saying to mum yesterday I feel different to last month and I still feel pregnant. I've got this icky metal taste still that is stronger than ever, I keep blacking out when I stand up, my head is all over like baby brain, I've got feelings in my belly, I feel sick, semi heartburn etc etc. I just feel pregnant, so we'll have to just see. Maybe the hormones are hanging about a bit longer than last time.

So dr just rang, negative. Was def there, but hcg very low for what they'd expect.
She said she didn't think it was necessary for the test next week but if I feel I want to go then go.
I'd literally minutes before just piac and dipped in my last hpt and ov test. Ov test very dark, hpt still light so very confused.

Odd how you still feel it, can you wait a couple of days and test again?

Good news about the tree iwish! Just what you need at this time of year. eBay has changed with it's refund policies hasn't it. You used to Have to open a case, wait and see who eBay favoured, then get refund of seller if they had funds. But now eBay refund you. I had a buyer saying I sold them a fake on fire jumper which was most defiantly not fake, I said return for refund but wouldn't refund postage. They opened a case and won and get refunded but money didn't go out of my PayPal account.

For £170 you want it right!!

Oh and just a lovely story from my hectic day. Sat in costa this morning and took violet to the toilet 4 times, twice she weed, then finished and went straight next door to Dorothy Perkins to pick up a parcel, where she said she wanted a wee again!! The useless staff kept me waiting, one girl on the till everyone else milling about, then got to my turn and had to wait yet again, where vilet weed and left a puddle on the floor. I was so pissed off I changed her right there in front of the till! I think my mum was mortified!!

How strange choc. Maybe just test again in a couple of days and see what happens.
And bloody hell £170 you do what it right. Good job they are giving you a refund.

Scan went ok thanks. She is still growing even tho it's on the smaller side but she's not dropping off the scale so it's all good. They estimated her weight at about 6lb 7oz but said it's not as accurate at 38 weeks as they are so big.
Anyway I saw the consultant who was happy with the scan but then they did my BP again which was 2 high again so have spent literally all day in hospital. Even went home to get my bags because they were talking about inducing me. Then my BP went down at about 3pm!!! (I went to the hospital at 9am)

So now I've got to go back on Saturday to be monitored has also Tuesday. If only baby would arrive before that.

Hi ladies, well finally negative this morning and I actually feel so much better. I know that sounds weird but I was stuck in a land of limbo so at least now I know.

Yes more or less ready here, all wrapped. Rob, however, hasn't bought a single thing!! He's been so busy with the houses over the last few weeks which is totally unheard of!! Typical!
Anyway, we're out Monday night so my parents have got Euan for the day and night so I'm going to get the Xmas food and robs going shopping. Must be mad!!

Haven't got euey a big pressie this year, just lots of smaller things. Got him a hobby horse yesterday, has wanted one every time we go into the shop they have them, anyway they'd ran out yesterday as they were closing down and everything half off, typical. Went in to wilko and they had them there half price too . That was fun to wrap!!!

We havnt got Joshua loads this year, he doesn't really get is 100% so will get away with it till next year I think.

Mum and dad are taking Joshua for a few hours tomorrow and we are going to the hospital again then Monday mil is taking him out for the day so me and DH are spending the day together

I got all the food today bar veggies which I'll get Monday from the local grocers in town. Euan had nursery this morning then a Xmas party so I took advantage of the time and went shopping. So glad I went as it wasn't too busy and totally stress free
Think I may send rob out on his own next week lol!

Been to hospital today. Had BP checked and it was all good. BUT then they kept me in another 2 hours because my pulse was too high!! Ended up having an ECG which came back ok so they just me to make an appt with the GP.
I'm falling apart lol.
Anyway after the hospital we waited for mum and dad to drop Joshua off and we went for a carvery. It was v nice

God I've had a shitty day today. Just been feeling sorry for myself all day. Had another crap sleep, DH snoring, needing to pee and SPD then Joshua got up at 6:30!!!! I put him back in bed and shut the door and he went quiet but wasn't asleep so I didn't nod back off. I eventually gave up and stopped trying to sleep but was shattered. DH has done sod all to help me all day and he buggered off to the garage most of the day too so I was left to do everything and he wondered why I'm in a bad mood.

Put Joshua to bed at 7:10 and am watching Harry potter now.

All good here. Planning to go shopping today with rob as Euey going to my parents til tomorrow in a bit, and robs woken up and been sick! He's NEVER ill, even after a night on the pop! And he wasn't last night, and we are the same, so not sure what's wrong.

Euans sleeping a loooooooooot better. Putting him straight down now, awake. He has a little moan, but stays in bed now rather than bang on the door! Also in the morning he shouts from his bed, and he is doing 11 hours straight now, THANK GOD!

Hopefully it continues, normally when we goes to my mum and dads, it knocks him out for a night or 2, great timing with it being Christmas!!

Evening ladies, sorry I've not been on for sbit, I've been soooo busy! The last 3 nights I have either been out or had company.

Went out for food and drinks with friends sat, mil came over fri. Out for the day Sunday. Only just had a shower at 11.30 pm! But all wrapping is done, ironing done.

I'm sooooo tired, after last weeks few very little sleep nights. I slept like a log last night. Friday night I had about 2 hours. Lulu was awake till 3 am complaining of stomach ache and toothache, violet was coughing from 2.30 and was up and down with her, was just totally shattered Saturday.

Sorry about yor negative result choccy, but like you say, at least you know, either way. Not in limbo anymore. Fingers crossed for you in the new year.

What are you both getting for Christmas? Any ideas? Christ had been to meadow hall tonight for a few bits for me, I didn't ask for much, nothing I need.

Hope you get a good night sleep tonight Iwish, not much longer now.

Hiya, merry Christmas and all that :) have you both had a good time? Ours has been ok, hectic what with all the stuff to find homes for. We've not been st work for an unusually long time, normally we are just closed for 3 days, but not opening till Monday, that seems a hell of alot of sitting about! Of course we have been places, but alot of time spent at home. I get bored!

Going to a panto tomorrow eith mum and dad, Chris is karting for the day. I'm looking forward to it, kids will love it.

And violets not had an accident for nearly a week! Touch wood she's finally cracked it. Even in the night, cause she's been up with a cough for the last 2 nights, of she's needed a wee she's told me and I have took her to the potty.

She has been quite poorly this last 2 nights. It's not her chest like usual, it's more of a cough. She's not wheezy or struggling for breath, it's a fleghmy cough. Thursday night was awful, I saw every hour and she was crying and upset with it, last night was better, still up 4-5 time,s but once she had a drink she was straight to sleep. she's fine all day but as soon as I lay her down she starts. I have tried it all, medicine obviously, steamer, Vicks on chest, Vicks on feet, plug in vaporiser. Nothing seemed to ease it. Although I think it's on it's way out now thank god!!

Did you both have nice Christmases?

Oh no poor violet :( Coughs are awful, especially for the little uns. Euan has a cough at the mo but not a massive one, and I know that bothers him.

I don't know when to try again. Euan said I need a wee when he was in the bath the other night and day him in the loo. He's getting there hopefully. Will try into the new year again I think.

All good here. Had Xmas to ourselves, then over to robs brothers and sil Boxing Day with the in laws and grandparents. Yesterday a friend popped over then we went out for lunch, and today been to the cinema as they do a Saturday showing of the kids older films for £1! Going to see frozen this coming week. Then met my parents in town for lunch, there's a play cafe so Euan wasn't interested in lunch at all!
Robs been to the rugger today so just me and the little man.

Been feeling sick the last couple of days and needing to poo all the time (sorry tmi!!) and mum said if she didn't know I wasn't, she'd say I was upduffed. Anyway I looked it up online and apparently you can feel sick during ovulation and sure enough, positive ov test!! Only a day later from last 2 months so my body has reset itself again really quick. Glad I jumped on him this morning now

Nope still no bloody baby. . I swear I'm going to explode soon. The lack of sleep is really taking it's toll and my patience has totally gone. I had 2-3 hours sleep last night and that was broken sleep. Had to get nick to take Joshua downstairs in the morning so I could have another hour. Well I actually had to make him get up because he's just useless.

Glad you both had a nice Christmas. Did they both get spoilt? Joshua had loads of new toys. And lots of chocolate!!
Went to my mum and dads on Christmas Day then nicks mums on Boxing Day. We were still home to get Joshua to bed and chilled out at night.

Glad your body is back to normal choc. I really hope you get pg with a sticky one soon. Your body does do strange things when oving. I always knew I was oving because I always felt crap on the actual day and had period pains. When I got pg this time we dtd thinking It wasn't ov time but then I got all the pains 2 days later so knew there was a possibility.

All this talk of ov goes over my head, I never knew what my body was doing at any particular time, I was so ignorant to how it worked, not so much second time round, but even then, used the ov sticks and still never got a pos reading.

I know what you mean about useless husband,s Chris was totally selfish when she was really poorly, I was up nd down with her all night, even took her into the living room at 7am so he could have a lie in. Asked him to do the same yesterday morning and did he??? Ha don't make me laugh!

I forgot to ask. Did any of you get any nice presents? It makes my blood boil that boots do all the sets half price on boxing day. Kills me it really does! Chris bought me a couple of soap and glory sets that went to half price, although he didn't get one and managed to get that for half price.
Usually I go to meadowhall boxing day but didn't bother this year, I did get up st 4.40 to go to the next sale, but it was pissing it down so got back in bed!! It's a good job I was going on my own and no one was relying on me for a lift!

Men are useless aren't they!! Nick doesn't even wake up when Joshua does. He could be crying or just shouting from his bedroom and he's still asleep. Really pisses me off because I always have to get up. So in a few more weeks I'll have baby waking me up, Joshua waking me up and nick waking me by snoring.

Tbh this year I didn't really get much, and I didn't even notice! I've got some money and got some boots and pjs and a soap and glory set. Me and nick didn't do prezzies this year because we don't really need anything atm.
He's getting me a nice handprint necklace when Lucy is born tho and having both of the kids handprints put on. I can't wait for that.

You are very brave going shopping on Boxing Day! I've never been, the amount of people running around would drive me mad. A wise decision for you to stay in bed lol.

Well I'm 40 weeks tomorrow. Looks like little lady is staying put for a while longer. Tried walking, cleaning, on my hands and knees, sex, bouncing on my ball and nothing! My womb must be very comfy lol.

Bless Joshua he was so tired yesterday he couldn't keep his eyes open, ended up putting him to bed at 7pm on the dot. He was in bed at 7:15 tonight.

What has the hospital said about you going over due? How long will they let you go over?
Did you know in some countries they don't believe in inducing, I've seen it on one of them midwife programmes, it might be India but don't quote me. They just leave the baby till its ready to come out
