Don't feel bad about the cot, if it makes him sleep better and longer then so be it. As long as him and you're happy, what does it matter. Fingers crossed for you that he sleeps ok.

Violet had a Letter yest from the doctors reccomending she has the flu jab. I can't remember if she had it last year, I think she did. Still didn't stop her getting any thing to do with her chest tho, I rang yest to try and make an appointment for that and to review her inhalers, but couldn't even get through.

Good luck this month choccy!!!

Choccywoccydodah · 01/10/2013 21:19

Settled really well tonight Smile was scared of him climbing out, but he hasn't. I went to him after 5 mins, then a further 10 then another 15 and that was it, very pleased and am hoping he'll sleep through. His door is open too. He wasn't screaming like he does when I shut his door and hold the handle and he's out of bed so that was a good start. He was just shouting for me and not because he was in his cot, so that we good too.

We got a flu jab letter for Euan a couple of weeks ago, I think the clinic is this Saturday. I've been looking through his red book and I think he had it when he had his mmr with something else.

Cramps are awful tonight with ov pain, finger crossed Smile

Choccywoccydodah · 02/10/2013 07:50

Well, still woke overnight like he usually does, and called for me, but went off quickly at 10.50 (5 mins), and 12.40 (5 mins, 10mins). But he woke at 4.40, and I went in at 5,10,15,15 mins and it was only until I said do you want some juice, he said yes, and I said lay down and I'll get some that he went back off til 7.30. Surely it can only get better.......??

What I've been doing is going in after he's woken for 5 mins, then leave, leave him for another 10 min then go back, then leave, leave him for 15 (that's the max), then go back etc.

Tonight I've got to leave him longer, I think it's 10,20,30. At least he stayed in his cot though and didn't scream to go in his bed Smile

Frigging hell choccy. I really really thought the cot would just put him back to sleeping through. Wat a bugger.

Has he gone down ok tonight? Did he have sleep in the day yesterday?

If violet doesn't have a sleep, she's flat out by 7 ish, sometimes half past if we're running lat,e but usually 7. But she is surprisingly resilient nowadays. She can last for hours even though I would have sworn she was tired out. But just a regular day, she's in bed by 7 and I bloody love it!!

She has been very challenging today. I've been in town, she slips out her pushchair with lightening speed which I don't mind really as I always keep my eye on her obviously, but if she sees something she wants, or just something she likes the look of, but I want her to come away, she turns to jelly. Lays full flat out on he floor. Won't move, won't budge, I have to physically pick her up, not easy when keeping control on pushchair and shopping, I was not best pleased with her today!!

But on a brighter not,e I have booked to go to benidorm today, me mum and kids. Just 3 nights in October half term, should still be warm enough to play on the beach. I'm looking forward to it.

Choccywoccydodah · 03/10/2013 09:08

Ha ha liz terrible twos hey?!? Bet you can't wait for your hol!!

I meant the first night he was up at 10.50 after going to bed at 6.45, asleep by 7.15.

Anyway, just gets better. Last night he went to bed at 7.15, ( he was at my mum and dads yesterday, didn't pick him up til 6). He shouted for me so I left him ok 7.25, went in lay down, back to sleep :)
Then he didn't wake til 4.05!! Went in at 4.15, lay down, back to sleep I thought. He shouted at 4.20 again so I went in at 4.30, did my do you want some juice line, he said yes, lay down, woke at 6.55 happy happy happy!!!!!

Choccywoccydodah · 03/10/2013 09:11

He had half hour sleep 1-1.30 yesterday. I had said to mum and dad don't let him sleep past 1.30 and only 30 mins, so he slept that in the car.

Choccywoccydodah · 05/10/2013 07:55

Morning ladies, what are we up to this weekend?

All good here, Euey woke briefly at 2am looking for his bunnies which was a shame, but went to bed at 7pm, no crying, nothing. He just rolled over after I said night night woohoo!
Then he woke for the day just before 6, which was a bit early after the last few days has been 6.35 and 6.55, but hey ho it's getting better GrinGrin

Got some friends coming for dinner tonight (ones with twins on the way), so am glad Euey is better at bedtime, it means I now get an evening!

Am cooking butternut squash soup with crusty bread, baked chicken with aubergine, courgettes and tomatoes with roasted new potatoes and green beans, then blackberry and apple crumble. Going to get the last of the blackberries from down the track later when we walk bella, apples are from robs parents garden.
Looking forward to it although she was on Facebook an hour before me as the boys were playing footy with her belly Grin. So I bet she'll be knackered later!

lizandlulu · 06/10/2013 22:57

Evening,, had a fairly boring weekend, nothing exciting happen. Just boring. Nice weather tho!

How are you both.

lizandlulu · 10/10/2013 21:56

Hhheeelllooooooooooooooo

Choccywoccydodah · 11/10/2013 06:56

Hellllllllloooooooo back!!

How are we? All good here. Trying to keep my head on at the moment, am losing it a bit. Testing time.......!
Bfn this morning. Thought I was out of the game as I started spotting pink at 7pm Wednesday, the exact same day as last month and bar half hour, the same time!
Anyway, I had nothing else, then about 5.15pm yesterday I had a tiny bit more so I stuck my finger in with a bit of tissue (sorry tmi!) and it was a tiny bit dark pink/watery red, again nothing since.
Hate this waiting! Am due af tomorrow if it's the same as last month, so I was trying to hold out til Sunday really, but I had the most clear dream last night that I was pg, and it woke me up. So I piac and saved it til now and bfn :( Far too early, but worth a try!

Been a shit week too, as finally after 7 or 8 weeks, our survey on the new house was booked in for Tuesday, we found out last Friday. We got an email from the estate agent Tuesday night saying the surveyors had turned up and no one let them in!
Anyway, the EA gave the surveyors the tenants number to arrange another time and I went in yesterday to tell them off! It's not for them to do! Of course the tenants are going to drag it now, as they haven't been given their 2 months notice yet (which I had another go at them for), as they said it wouldn't be given until after the mortgage offer!! So the fecking tenants are bound to drag it out for at least a week now as they'll think we bound not to want to move that close to Xmas. Rob said yesterday he thinks we should even if it's Xmas Eve, just to piss them off for playing silly buggers. We're not letting ours out for a few weeks after anyway as we want to get a few things done before all our stuff goes in. Driving us mad, we wanted to complete mid November originally!
I told the EA just bloody book the survey, give the tenants 24 hours notice and bloody just go in! The EA are showing them anyway, but apparently they couldn't get hold of the tenants to tell them about this Tuesday as they were away hence no one met them.
EAs are fecking useless!!

Iwish · 11/10/2013 08:53

Do you dunk your penis sniggers
Hahahahaha

lizandlulu · 12/10/2013 19:13

Wtf iwish? Am I missing something???? I don't get it waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!!

Bloody run around choccy!! Nothing ever goes to plan! If I had a pound every time I said that I would be a millionaire !!

All good here, children still being testing, getting lots of no's off violet, lots of laying on the floor, generally being a sod. Booked to go to benidorm last week, got two weeks till we go, mum says I better have straightened her up before we go! Ha fat chance!

Choccywoccydodah · 13/10/2013 09:40

dunking penis liz :)

Terrible twos liz! Euan does it all the time. We were at the park the other day and it started raining, but he still threw himself face down on the floor having a tantrum about something, he was soaked!
I'm sure she'll be fine on holiday :)

Still bfn here, no more spotting.

lizandlulu · 14/10/2013 19:59

Oh my fucking god, like people do that!! Must be a troll, must be weirdos!

Bugger on the bfn choccy. Still no af tho?

Violet was sick sat night, she started at 2.30 am and was sick for the last time at 4.45am. It was not a good night! I ran out of sheets and pyjamas! She eventually went to sleep about half past. Bless her little heart tho, after the first time she was sick, she asked to go to the potty, so I took her md she sat there singing baa baa black sheep like nothing was wrong.
Next morning she did two tiny splats of diahorrea on the potty, then about half an hour later she ran into the bathroom, leaving little splats on the bathroom floor as she went, but managed to hold it in Tull she got sat on the potty and let it all out! It was down her legs and everywhere but st least she managed to hold it till she sat down!!

So spent all of yesterday in the house, didn't want to take her out to spread her germs, plus it pissed it down all day. It has not been. Good weekend!!

Choccywoccydodah · 14/10/2013 21:13

Oh no Liz how is she now? Clever girl with the potty!!
Horrible when they are ill, hope she's feeling better.

Af came early hours this morning. Devastated and have just had a glass of bubbles to drown my sorrows :(
My luteal phase has been short too so I've bought some vitamins to try and change it. Fingers crosses third month lucky Smile

Iwish · 15/10/2013 09:17

Choc that's what happened with my. My LP was like 8 days so I bought some tablets and when I got to 10dpo that's when I decided I should test lol.

Hope Violet is better liz. Nothing worse than poop and illness lol.

All ok with Joshua. He's starting to get potty training a bit but I'm not pushing it. He did have his nappy off for 4 hours on Saturday and did all his wees apart from 2 little ones on his potty
Belly getting bigger now and SPD is kicking in. Not sleeping well either. Only 6 weeks left of work!! Is the quickest pregnancy ever!

lizandlulu · 15/10/2013 19:23

We are the other way round! I don't want to start potty training but vilets pushing it!! She was desperate for pants on last night st bedtime so she put them on top of her Jamas! Wouldn't have a nappy on this morning so decided to take the plunge nd just do it. Took her to nursery in pants and asked them to make a start. The nursery owner was abit put out as apparently she likes to make the decision when the times right and speak to parents first!! But I've got to do it if violet wants to. She had 2 accidents at nursery, but was really good, even doing a poo on the potty which she's been doing at home for a couple of weeks but they seemed really surprised about it.

Obviously just put her to bed in a nappy, but am going to keep her in pants from now on. I think.

Gutted about your af choccy, it will happen soon, I have my fingers crossed for next month.

How many weeks do you have left iwish? It does seem to have gone quick! Is there still nothing you can do about the spd? No amazing invention since first time round?

Iwish · 15/10/2013 19:45

No I don't think so. Think they give you some kind of support belt and you hope for the best. Good thing is that it just disappeared as soon as Joshua was born last time so hoping it's the same this time.
I'm 29 weeks now so got 6 1/2 weeks left at work woohoo! Also got a couple of Wednesdays off next month to spend on my own while Joshua is at nursery.

That's great that Violet is telling you she wants to do it tho. Is her nappy dry in the morning?

lizandlulu · 15/10/2013 20:57

Not always, 7times out of ten it is. This morning tho she must have slept on her front for a long time as her nappy and leaked out onto her Jamas bottoms and pants she was wearing over the top. Not soaking, just damp. All depends on how much she's had to drink before she goes to bed. I will start and try to limit how much she has before bed.

Choccywoccydodah · 16/10/2013 21:19

Ugh iwish, I hope your spd isn't too bad and your not in too much pain. Hopefully the belt helps you too.
What vitamins did you take, was it b6? How much did you take? I've just started taking 50mg, but wondering if I should take 100mg from ov to when I'm due a or start taking 100 now.
Did you get go the first month then?

I've got everything for this month, conceive plus (which we used last month too), grapefruit juice and b6, so here's hoping.....

Glad the potty trainings are going well, bless violet liz, she'll be out of nappies before you know it at this rate!

Euan keeps clamping his legs shut when I change his, like he doesn't want it back on so I might try him again soon.

lizandlulu · 17/10/2013 18:52

Well it's not too bad, yesterday morning was sbit of a disaster. We went up town, say in costa and took her to the toilet 3 times but she didn't do anything, then weed herself. Then 5 mins later poohed herself!!!! Typical for it to be when we're out.
Today at nursery she's had one accident, that's it. Fairly good.

Iwish · 18/10/2013 20:08

SPD is pretty horrid choc but I don't think it's any worse than last time YET.
Yeh it was b6 I took, think it was 50s. It was a low ish dose anyway. I think I started taking them just before I had my last AF, had AF then got upduffed. Where are you in your cycle now?
How's Euey been? Are your nights getting better now he's in his cot?

How are you liz? How's the potty training going? Any more poop incidents?

Joshua does his wees on the potty when I take his nappy off at home but he would have an accident if he was busy doing something so not taking him out of nappies yet.

Think I lost a little bit of my plug this morning, it was only a little bit tho so I'm not panicking. I've read it just regenerates itself.

Iwish · 19/10/2013 20:21

Shitting it. Joshua is in a big boy bed! Nick decided tonight was the night. He went to sleep within 10 mins but dreading the night/morning.

lizandlulu · 19/10/2013 22:00

OooHh big boy Joshua!!!!L I do hope it goes ok, you can do without the messing can't you!

About the show thing, is that normal? I can't say I've ever heard of it. Have oh told the midwife or anyone?

Well, potty training going ok. I know I'm not ment to, but the last 2 days, when we've been out in the mornings, I've put a pull up on her not pants. She's still asked to go to the loo, many many times! Most times not doing anything. Afternoons are spent in pants where she's had a couple of accidents, but all in all going ok.

I have seen something I think I am going to get for violet when I put her in a bed. It was in a vertbaudet catalogue I got through the post. I can't remember what the official name of it is, it's like caradou or something like hat. But it's a bed set, bottom sheet and duvet cover that zips together. Stops covers slipping off, and I was thinking, might keep her in bed. If she feels secure, she might not try to climb out. It's bout £35 including the duvet which seems to be an odd size, so you have to buy it from them rather than just using normal single.

Choccywoccydodah · 20/10/2013 08:04

Eeek big boy bed! How was your night?
Not sure about the plug thing but I'd mention it to the mw like liz said.
Thanks for the info on the b6, I'm taking 50mg every morning too. Started it on cd2, I'm now on cd6 I think, will start if testing this coming week to see if it's changed because of b6.

Liz, I wanted one of those for Euan. I 'invented' one when he was in his cot as a baby as he kicked the covers off, then they came out with those, I was gutted. It's the second thing I've thought of and not done anything about, the other one was the soft close toilet lid! I could be a millionaire Wink
Glad the potty training going well! Good girl violet :)

Al ok here. Euan full of cold, so obviously a tooth en route. He's so much better now in his cot and goes through the night again. He's banging in his cot like last time though and thats why I took him out originally. However, he's not waking himself up like he was doing and why I took him out.
Still waking around 6ish though, but at least he's going through again which is fab. Yesterday he woke at 7 which was fab!
We put him to bed at 8 last night and had a bit of family time dancing around the living room in our pjs last night, was lovely. Still woke at 6!
