I'm really happy, I've been studying on MumsNet for 3 hrs! DS20mo is having a lovely long sleep, I've done cleaning and all sorts too.
Better go get him up now though.

I love Saturdays . The sound of my children talking/playing on the next room while I lie in my bed and stay there until they come in to demand breakfast...

Ellovera · 09/03/2012 20:48

The way he calls mummeeee when he has finished having a little play in his cot before bed when he is ready to snuggle down to sleep . He hands me his toys to put away then holds my hand to snuggle underneath him. Awwwwww

Flisspaps · 09/03/2012 20:49

Kisses. Unsolicited, soggy kisses complete with MWAH sound from my 2yo Grin, or having a snuggle demanded of me when I go into her room in just my dressing gown and she isn't content until she's wrapped up inside it.

Mine would have to be right now as the younger and more evil of my two dcs has finally fallen asleep. I'll try and think of a proper one but it's been a loooooong day!

SurvivalOfTheUnfittest · 09/03/2012 20:54

DC1, aged 4, 'reading' to DC2, aged 2. Very cute. Smile

brightermornings · 09/03/2012 20:56

My dd is 10 a bit older than your little ones. I love going in her room in the morning an watching her wake up.

Yama · 09/03/2012 20:56

A koala like hug from a chubby toddler.

DizzyDancing · 09/03/2012 20:58

Listening to my boys (2 & 3) telling each other "I love you" completely unprompted, followed by a big hug. They don't even know I'm watching/listening and it absolutely melts me Smile.

steph01 · 09/03/2012 20:59

When my DS smiles at me!

JoyceDivision · 09/03/2012 20:59

Ds (3) getting me in a silent smiley death grip hug at bedtime..

Dd climbing into our bed when she's woken up and silently climbing n, cuddiling me and flinging her arm over me and going back to sleep

dd 'teaching' ds anything she feels bossy enough about

dd hearing ds coughing at night, getting up, running him cup of water and leaving it by his bed then going back to sleep. Never said anything to anyone, just did it ff her own bat as she was owrried about him. Oh bugger, making me well up and I've ny started on my first glass of wine!

breatheslowly · 09/03/2012 21:04

I love hearing DD shout "daddy, daddy, daddy" in the mornings as it is super cute and he is sort of obliged to go and get her as she is calling him not me!

I have spent days trying to decide if she can count to six or not. She misses out five, so can she count to six or four? It's a strangely exciting philisophical question.

Francagoestohollywood · 09/03/2012 21:04

Snuggling with the dc on the sofa, watching Harry Potter.

Unlurked · 09/03/2012 21:10

Ok I thought if a better one than 'they are both asleep'.

20mo dd2 singing twinkle twinkle at tea time and 3yo dd1 joining in but singing dd2's words with her rather than the proper ones Smile

I love when the big one reads to the little one too, v sweet.

ItWasThePenguins · 09/03/2012 21:12

Aw. They are so cute aren't they!

Ha ha breatheslowly, I love hearing DD counting her animals "one, two, five, six" sooo sweet.

In fact everything she does is lovely at the moment - I'm finding age two the best (having had my reservations about the baby stage!)

Scaredycat3000 · 09/03/2012 21:27

My DS, very nearly 3, seems to be learning something new nearly every day at the moment. It's great to see him doing something new. One day he said crocodile in stead of snap-snap, Dinosaur instead of Rahhhhhhh, 'Come into my room for a party' then 'dance Mummy' and today he sang a nursery rhyme with me and did hand actions, it was incy wincy spider. Grin

MyNameIsInigoMontoya · 09/03/2012 21:29

Holding their hands is lovely. Especially with DS who hates cuddles, kisses etc so any contact with him is lovely. (He does very occasionally climb on my knee and let me get a bit snuggly when he's in the mood, as long as I act like I haven't noticed, but it's quite rare!).

leftmysociallifeatthedoor · 09/03/2012 21:40

Dd (17m) saying 'mama danz' and holding her hands out so we can dance together.

Ds (5) going and getting dd her favourite toy unprompted when she was crying. Also, dd climbing up beside ds and him putting his arm round her and her snuggling in. No words exchanged and eyes never taken off the telly.

lolajane2009 · 09/03/2012 22:03

when my 6 month old chuckles when i tickle his belly

JingleJingleJingle · 09/03/2012 22:12

Me singing 'the wheels on the bus go' and ds shouting 'wow wow wow' is tres cute!

Seeing my once 6lb little fragile pfb fling himself head first down a steep slide on his tummy shouting 'weeee' whilst i clutch my face and pray to god dp catches him

Hearing ds sing happy birthday every bloody time we go down the cards aisle in Tesco, Failing that just shouting randomly 'this way mummy' and pointing enthuiastically towards the yoghurts makes me go all warm and fuzzy

ItWasThePenguins · 09/03/2012 22:16

DS has just started doing actions to songs. Twinkle twinkle, and Head...toes.. lol. Misses out shoulders and knees.. lol.

When they make each other laugh and giggle uncontrollably for ages

And wrapping them in towels, all clean and snug, after a bath

Duritzfan · 09/03/2012 22:21

Realising that what my baby dd has been trying to say is " buvver" to her big strong 6foot brother - and watching him MELT Wink

TheSinglePringle · 09/03/2012 22:23

Bedtime Grin

mummynoseynora · 09/03/2012 22:28

DS (2) likes to decide if he is a baby or a big boy - depending on what type of cuddles he wants Grin Not baby mummy - big boy ... or mammas baby Grin
