Spacecadet is currently having to deal with more than anyone should ever have to deal with in a lifetime.

She has experienced over the last few months a stillbirth, serious illness, looking after with no help a house full of children and a consequence a husband who has walked out.

Please can we do something positive and practical to help spacey out over the next few months.

Lovely mumsnet have said that they will give out the details of their po box address so that any of us that feel so generously inclined could rustle up a few quid to go into a nanny fund or an au pair fund or so that we can find a company that make lovely homemade food and deliver it to her every week.

Please support me on this - If everyone gave just £1 we'd be able to offer some amazing help to SC.

I'm sorry Spacey if you are angry with me for starting this thread - I know you are proud and you have coped admirably with everything - but please just accept that we want to help.

I will post details of who to make cheque payable to and where to send it, just as soon as I have the details. In the meantime, please look behind your cushions on your sofa and in the bottom of your handbag amongst the fluff to dig out those coins.

Thank you so much
DHW

SC I can't really add more than everyone has already said... it is absolutely beneath contempt... but you will get strong, and you will be able to cope I just know it.
and.. forgive me for the old cliche .. but you will be better off without him.

I have sent a small paypal (sorry it's not much)hope you can get yourself something.

Can someone do a link to paypal for those of us who are total technophobes?

charliecat · 18/01/2006 17:40

www.paypal.com You add your cregit card details and or bank details and it whips it out of the bank/off the cc. Might take a few days to get a new account set up.
Spacey then gets an email saying you have recived blabla from bla bla and then she can transfer the money to her bank account.

Aero · 18/01/2006 17:52

Thanks cc - have managed it. Hope it helps a little sc.

desperatehousewife · 18/01/2006 18:00

it should say forgotten password. You click that, then it emails your password.

DHW

Mars is coming here on Friday afternoon, and she and I are going to cook enough food to sink a battle ship.

Meal one under way.

Two and Three under construction.

And that is before Mars and I start cooking.

spacecadet · 18/01/2006 19:30

I just wanted to say thank you to every one that has helped me in some shape or form, words cant express how grateful I am, but I want you all to know that I am truly grateful, you are all absoloutely wonderful.

spacecadet · 18/01/2006 19:31

and if anyone ever comes on mn and says that mumsnetters are unfriendly, they should be directed to all of my threads, forthwith.

desperatehousewife · 18/01/2006 19:34

ooooh i've got goose bumps at how creamy mn-etters are being. When the chips are down and all that...blitz spirit!

Spacey - thanks for not getting cross!
