I did not actually have Pippa - my sister did - my other big sister had Britt ( ahhhh her long grey hair) I had Marie ( I cut her hair in a mulllett) and my little sister had Tammy ( of red haired fame)

We also had Mandy ( Makosi look alike) and Rosemary - we cut her hair and called her Ronald!

Any one else have them - with their TINY little bags and shoes ...I never hear people talk of them ( am I just too old?)

Ugly and ill equipped for a long term relationship with Pippa.

I was always telling people about my Action Girl and nobody else had heard of her! So I suddenly thought maybe my mum bought me a girlie doll and just told me it was Action Girl to make me play with it - I have been accusing her of deceiving me for years! I guess I owe her an apology!!

Gingerbear - I would love to see the angel! I have had to send about 30 pictures off that website to my sister - so nostalgic I cannot get over it!

I had a princess pipa with floor lengh hair (but it wasn't a very nice colour)

spidermama · 11/07/2005 20:29

Pippa was my very good friend for many years.

i recently developed a slight obsession with sasha dolls - and found myself buying a couple on ebay - ostensibly for my daughter to grow into... Anyway, the odd pippa doll also pops up on ebay -though never seated majestically in their box which is how I remember them. I would just lose them - save up ten weeks pocket money, buy one, then lose it on the way to school and start all over again.

Have now gone on ebay and started looking at them - my sister rang me and said 'if you want to buy me one I would LOVE Tammy!' cheeers!

my brother cut my sasha dolls hair - which is why I started looking on ebay in the first place- for a pristine one! I think if they don't have diy hair cuts they can still sell for quite a price. They are beautiful dolls . Odd because I was never into dolls as a child, and now, in spite of myself feel very into them again. Doubtless my daughter will be a total tom boy and have no interest at all. Sashas are beautiful though - their faces - hard to find anything similar now. Pippas were just sweet and pocket sized - and a lot cheaper than sasha - even then...

I've got a Pippa, in a bed with some clothes. Are they worth anything? Think it must be at my parents so if she's now worth millions that'll mean my mum will have thrown her out..

deegward · 11/07/2005 21:20

God just say that someone else had a ginger haired Action Girl! I thought I had the only one!

jayzmummy · 11/07/2005 21:22

Ive still got my Pippa Princess and my Tiny Tears!!!!

Katymac · 11/07/2005 21:23

Was there a carrie - in a little swing?

Fimbo · 11/07/2005 21:29

I've still got lots of Pippa dolls, the pink camper van and pony at my mum's. I had Sindy dolls but never Barbie.

galaxy · 11/07/2005 21:53

I had Pippa dolls - much prettier than Barbie and Sindy. My favourite had a red polka dot dress

bonym · 11/07/2005 22:03

For all you fellow ex-owners of Action Girl - I've tracked her down!!

Mamatoto · 12/07/2005 08:55

OP posts:
jampots · 12/07/2005 09:26

Mamatoto · 12/07/2005 11:53
