I've found the baby intercom (Tomy Walkabout 2000)very handy although I can't find the downstairs one at the moment, I've started to turn out cupboards in the hope it'll turn up.

Britax car seat (the polystyrene one) suitable from 9 months upwards although I found it only useful from 18 months up as they both fell out the side of the seat belt when they went sleep in the car.

not a product but I would really struggle without the assistance of CBEEBIES! Also, the awful Thomas the Tank Engine books and toys which I hate but DS adores.

I started off motherhood with cotton wool and water instead of wet wipes, washable eco friendly nappies, breast feeding and plans for 100% organic homemade weaning food etc. etc....

On my list of great products - wet wipes, Minnie Mouse pink pull up nappies, formula tubs for out and about, infacol, calpol, Homer Simpson DVDs.... I think I had better stop there before someone lynches me for sinning so much!!

My baby rocker is the one thing I would choose to keep, even if everything else had to go. When dd was born and came home she refused to sleep in her crib but if we put her in her rocker, she'd go off nicely after a couple of minutes of rocking. It was the only way we got any sleep in those early weeks!!!

Agree about the large bottle of wine. And a stun gun only joking!
