Well? Go on, tell me what they are and I'll have a go at you about them. I want to. Go on.

Whereas yours, shouted aloud in a crowded room, will cause several people to look up and say 'Yes? Did you want me?'

hunkermunker · 16/05/2005 22:25

Big squeezy huggy hugs, LGJ {{{{{{}}}}}}

OP posts:
hunkermunker · 16/05/2005 22:26

Yes, OT, it would. It's a common name down our way.

OP posts:
OrganicTroll · 16/05/2005 22:26

Yup, big stinky hug here too.

OrganicTroll · 16/05/2005 22:26

Thought so. I've heard Ruislip is a haven of hunkers (and indeed, munkers)

hunkermunker · 16/05/2005 22:26

I'd swerve your hips back a bit from OT with that hug - lentil knickers and all, LGJ...

bubble99 · 16/05/2005 22:28

LGJ. Is he still in hospital?

OrganicTroll · 16/05/2005 22:28

Yes bub, of course. If you can prove you knitted it yourself and handwhittled the knitting sticks too.

hunkermunker · 16/05/2005 22:29

Bubble, you're expected to be there, natch

hunkermunker · 16/05/2005 22:29

Knitting sticks?! Hokay!

Bet you play tennis with a tennis bat too. And hockey with a hockey pole.

Bubble, any plans to open another nursery...in the Ruislip area? I'm deadly serious, btw!

Oh god, ds is squeaking. His Peruvian goathair blanket must be itching. Better go see

hunkermunker · 16/05/2005 22:35

Hope he doesn't squeak for long, OT. Goat hair - amateur - you want llama pelt

Yes and will be off work for 12 weeks.

I truly believe that God, in my case, or in other peoples case, their God,was looking out for him.

He sails every weekend, he was preparing to leave the house to go sailing, got some chest pains, told his wife it was OK. His wife, like any good wife/friend ignored him and called 999 anyway. As the emergency services pulled up outside the house he arrested.

Every time, I think about what might have happened if he had been out at sea, I kind of go cold.

hunkermunker · 16/05/2005 22:40

LGJ, please don't do what ifs - they're not helpful to man nor beast. DS pushed a booster highchair backwards last week and I just caught the chair he was on before it fell through a glass door - the what ifs terrify me, so I decided I wouldn't think about them. Mind you, it's easy to forget about things if you're as sieveheaded as me.

Right have missed my early night,

As I can hear the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzssssssssss

coming down the stairs

hunkermunker · 16/05/2005 22:45

Night night hun - I think I may hit the hay myself. No rucks tonight, but lots of nice chatter - lovely. DH has washed up, the house looks less bomb-sitey and I feel a lot more calm having stabilised my blood sugar

Sleep tight!

LGJ. Makes the next row seem inappropriate doesn't it?
Mr Bubble woke up crying a couple of mornings ago. He'd had a vivid dream about Elijah dying as well as Bo. We'd had a major bust-up the night before and I was fully prepared for a crappy morning with him. Ended up crying as well and all was OK. It's amazing how something so bad can draw you closer.

On the hippy/lentil thing. Met a mother at school today who'd spent the morning singing/playing the guitar at her mate's birth. Shite she is too, I've heard her. They definately knitted their own midwife. I'm all for saving the planet etc but it's the earnest preachy way in which it often seems to be done that pisses me off.

LGJ · 16/05/2005 22:51

Yes it does, re the rows..................just want him back, so we can spark off each other nicely, there is a kind of comfort in being comfy enough to argue, IYKWIM
