Don't go M2T, I have just read the other post and think Rioja was out of order. Your advice has been very helpful to me in the past and have feel you are a real 'cyber friend'.

Mum2Toby, we've all been there. I had a bit of a tiff with someone on Mumsnet a while ago, they even followed me into different threads to comment! I think they just got het up about a thread and picked on me as someone who had differing views. I got very annoyed about it at the time, but then realised that this is just a cyber-discussion and not worth losing sleep over!
Badmamma has said a few controversial things, maybe put her foot in her mouth, but even though she has apologised, people are still attacking her even as we speak, but that says more about them than it does about her. It is a shame when people are driven out of Mumsnet in that way, it kindof reminds you of a school playground! Take a break, take a couple of deep breaths, and remind yourself that this is a cyber-world, it is not 'reality' in that you really don't know who you are talking to, and no-one knows you. You could change your nickname tomorrow and no-one would be any the wiser.
You are more important than those who attack you, and this thread shows that. Hang in there.

Rhubarb · 06/05/2003 15:54

TECH - is it possible to find out who certain posters are? So that if we do have a troll, you could perhaps find out?
I've just read the missing mumsnetter one and it is full of over-reactions and over-lapping posts. Someone is out to stir it, which is not very nice and not at all what Mumsnet is about. Very childish in fact. Hope it can be sorted soon before any more accusations start flying around. I bet the Mumsnet team get fed up of this!

Chinchilla · 06/05/2003 21:00

Please can I just say that I don't want anyone to go. Although I commented about Badmamma being a stirrer on previous threads, I totally agree with the concept of everyone's right to post what they feel. I just don't like blatant nastiness, because I think that people can disagree politely and move on. I have come up against people and been upset, but it hasn't stopped me posting, mainly because I need Mumsnet more than it needs me!

M2T - you'll be here for some time yet...go on, admit you're addicted!

Mum2Toby · 06/05/2003 21:13

Chinchilla - I am so addicted my dp thinks I'm having an affair with one of you and I'm probably on the verge of losing my job!

I over-reacted, but I DID NOT do it for attention. It really upset me, but perhaps it's just one of those learning curves.

I'll be here for a while yet.

Chinchilla · 06/05/2003 21:19

My dh used to laugh at me for coming on here so much. Now he says 'Ask mumsnet about that' whenever ds does something that we aren't sure about!

Calm down luvvy, have a rum truffle and a slurp of Baileys. See you in the Yurt, and I'll let you use my v-cushion. Your need is greater than mine!

ninja · 06/05/2003 22:43

I don't know what this is about - only just come back from hospital but felt I wanted to add my support to M2T. You must have been one of the first and most positive people that I notived on here and when I heard you might be making it to the Liverpool meet up I was really sad I wouldn't be able to make it (if only to see if you really do look like C Z-J.

Rhubarb · 08/05/2003 15:36

NO! I'm C Z-J and I'm very upset that none of you have guessed that yet!

meanmum · 08/05/2003 15:41

Well Rhubarb. All I can say is congratulations on your recent addition and the fact you seem to have managed to keep your husband truly devoted to you rather than all the other women he fancied when he was married to Diandra. You are CZJ after all.

Mum2Toby · 08/05/2003 15:49

Rhubarb!! My clone!! Piled on the pounds a bit recently haven't you??? We don't look so alike now coz I'm still beautifully slender...

What are you all laughing at.... I am!! That's not really me on the weight loss thread... it's just a cover.

Rhubarb · 08/05/2003 15:53

Yeah, pity Michael is so guillable though isn't it? Like I'm gonna hang around with some old wrinkly! I just had his kids so that when I go off with Jude Law he'll have to pay me bags in maintenance.
Mum2Toby, that ain't fat that I have sweetie, that's all my money!

Mum2Toby · 08/05/2003 15:56

Well you should keep it in a safe instead of on your arse, hips and under your chin!

Rhubarb · 08/05/2003 15:58

Miaow!
