What can I buy my friends for their wedding anniversary - they are rich and have EVERYTHING

and we are meeting them for lunch on Sunday - what on earth can we buy them that doesn't cost a fortune?? My mind has gone blank and we are broke.

Is it a special anniversary? Do you usually exchange gifts? Can you buy them a goat in Africa?

Make them something. Biscuits,a cake.
Or...buy some supermarket roses, take off the celophane, trim and tidy them, and bind with a lovely thick ironed ribbon and leave the ends trailing.

its just they are really generous lovely friends and always buy the dds thoughtful sweet presents (even though they dont have kids themselves) and we...well we are hopeless, I always forget their birthdays etc and would like to take them something

There are organisations that send catalogues around Xmastime so that you can buy sustainable development things for communities abroad, like goats and standpipes. How about something like that, if they have all that they need? I can't remember the names of these organisations, but I'm sure that either other Mumsnetters will know, or that a good Googler would be able to find them.
