Hi, I'm looking for a sun block that is o.k for very sensitive skin.
My daughter always had spots on her cheeks and rashes, I recently started using all natural products on her such as little sprout, and peter rabbit naturally better. Her skin has really cleared up.
I'm more aware about chemicals in products now and try to avoid them where possible.
She needs a factor 30 at least, as she has very fair skin.
Usually every summer her skin gets really bad because of the sun block. I always used nivia childrens factor 50.
Now her skin is looking so good, I don't want to aggrivate it with sun block this year. So if you know of anything, please let me know. Thanks.

from what i remember the one with PABA in says it is all natural too.

so titanium prob ok but although some companies say phenyoxyehthanol is an approved presrrvative some people say its not good and apparently it possible to get this from natural sorces but not sure whether it is in this case

What do you mean by natural? Why is natural better?

Titanium dioxide, when used as a sunscreen, is highly processed. Nanotechnology, even when its raw materials are fairly basic, takes on a life of its own, and a lot of what we understand about clinical effects needs to be relearnt.

DS has eczema and very sensitive skin, last summer we used the E45 sun block on him with no problems.

I used to have a really good link to the eczema society's recommended sun creams for those with eczema but can't for the life of me find it - I have tried looking on their website - Eczema Society but can't see it anywhere but I am sure that is where it was.

Anyway - from what I can remember they recommended Sunsense (which I used on DS1 - it is great - and although the roll on bottle looks small it spreads on really well and lasts ages), and E45. And loads of others which is why I was looking for the link. We need to get some more sunsense because last weekend I just slapped on some Johnson's that I had handy and even though his skin is pretty good at the moment, it made him very itchy.

This looks lovely - shame it's only a factor 15 but might get some for myself anyway and try it on the dd's.

My daughter has eczema and I used Dr haushka mineral sunscreen for children factor 30. It is more expensive but doesn't make her skin worse.
