totally agree with cod on clean teeth have recently taken mine to task with teeth whiteners and they look so much better they make me smile more!

Other than that... cleanliness is best to way to look good clean hair, skin and clothes... does not matter what you wear as long as it fits well... one of my style icons is a woman of 60 who must be a size 20 at least but she always looks immaculately groomed in clothes that suit her shape....

Also, not kids under the age of 10 if any of above is to be achieved!

Clothes that fit and suit your shape. I do think that you can shop cheap and still look quite chic if you accessorise well. No point in wearing Next, Principles etc. if there's no oomph from funky jewellry, eye catching belt etc.

Sexy shoes, the best you can afford, I always notice shoes before anything else.

Clean and neat does it for me, short clean nails, same for hair unless you're blessed with supershiny long well kept hair .

If wearing shoes that show off your feet then always have a pedicure, get rid of rough skin and tend to the toes.

I always feel great with clean skin and won't leave the house without a touch of strobe cream. Makes me look the age I should look, if the kids hadn't stripped the youth from my face on a daily basis.

Failing any of the above I at least need plenty water, sex, exercise and sleep. Only just managing the exercise now and feel great. Still got to get more sleep though.

I always wear matching underwear, non-negotiable, but then I'm a bit Bree.

Finally, a big lingering kiss from Dh every morning before he goes to work sets me up for the day!

i dont need to wear makeup to feel better (plus dp tells me he prefers me without makeup so that makes me feel good anyway) but...
my hair has to be half decent
my face has to be moisturised
clean ironed clothes
comfortable shoes

i don't have very expensive clothes... the most expensive i go is River island and that is 'clubbing clothes'. i buy from New Look, Primark and Dorothy Perkins mainly. Im not too proud to buy cheap clothes. as long as they are the right size and look good it doesn't matter how much they cost.
