As you know we're not in the habit of censoring stuff on mumsnet, but we have had quite a few complaints about this and the direction the other thread "Almost made a huge mistake - what can I do? " ended up taking. I'm sure to you guys it's just a bit of harmless fun, a bit of a laugh but it's offending other members and I think you'll probably agree it's not really what mumsnet's here for. As it seems to be confined to just a few of you I'd be more than happy to pass on your emails to each other so you can carry on with the conversation off site, but would be grateful if you could leave off carrying on here.

Please don't take offence, we'd hate to lose your valuable contributions elsewhere on the site and trust me I'm not a prude and I don't want to come across all Mother Superior-esque, but I hope you'll understand that we have to respond when folks complain.
