So - what star sign are you and your dh/dp etc?

Another thread prompted me to think about this as the poster and her dh are the same signs as me and dh. I wonder if there is really anything in it. Do some star signs really get along better together than others?

I'm Virgo and dh is Leo and we get along like a house on fire. I've also got a couple of male friends who are Leos who I also get on really well with. My 3 best friends (plus the work colleague I'm closest to and another ex-work colleague who I got on reallly well with) are all Aries. There are certain star signs that I don't have any friends born under.

by the way ds 2 is a Gemini - laid back and personable.

emma - correction, your ds3 is on the cusp of Virgo and Libra. If you tell me what year and if possible what time I can give you an exact answer.

I'm Gemini and DH is Saggitarius which are opposite signs and so, therefore, totally compatible - apparently!

Well I'm a Leo and so is dh - he's my toyboy by 6 days

dd is capricorn (I think - 22/12)
ds is a virgo (I think - 07/09)

Alledgedly dh and I aren't supposed to get on

Oh and I'm a chinese Monkey and so is ds... no idea though what that means LOL

I am an aquarian. DH is a Cancer, although born on the cusp I think. No idea if the signs are compatable, but we get on just fine.

i'm a gemini and dp is a taurus. drives me mad, we're obviously completely incompatable! my mum and ds are also taurus...poor me! i can c there good points, i mean every quality has a flip side, e.g very loyal but also bit possesive! air and earth aren't meant to mix well i think, inhabit two different realms!

Are Chinese signs more relative than sun signs?

DD1 - Cancer

Chinese signs are probably less relevant than Sun signs - they work on a different system and are more generalised, covering a full year.

Sun Signs cover a month. Again, very generalised. Astrology is good for a laugh when just considered at such a level, but it can give some very clear insights into character (for example) if done correctly and calculated to include more information. You need to use not just the actual date of birth but also the time and location. Add in the Moon and planets as well as the Sun and it can get very complicated .

Cam - capricorn is earth , yes. If your sun signs are not supposed to be compatible, you'll often find that your moon signs are, so you really need to know both, or preferably the whole chart. I'm a bit of an astrology bore!

Aries and Leo

DS a Libra, thank goodness.

I'm a capricorn, dp is a leo.
DS is capricorn and DD is sagittarius.
DD and DP are very similar as am I and DS, I think the difference between the fire/earth signs shows up a lot in our family.
I'm pg now, due april 9th so we'll see what sign this one is.
