rhubarby and Rhubarb, Honeybunny and Hunnybunnie, this is getting very confusing!

Demented · 17/01/2003 23:04

BTW welcome to Mumsnet.

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:04

Do you think that swearing helps at all?

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:06

I mean, don't you think that just exaggerates the problem? Swearing shows a lack of respect for your kids, surely you should be teaching them respect? After all, if they don't respect you, how do you expect them to respect you?

rhubarby · 17/01/2003 23:15

yes custy good point, i understand what you are saying but i still do it, i dont think its lack of respect more frustration and i know i am not on my own in that respect

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:17

So frustration leads you to swear at your kids? Have you never heard of not acting in anger? I bet your kids swear left right and centre now don't they? I'm sorry but that's just plain bad!

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:22

its do as i say not do as i do at home

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:24

and i know its not ideal but do normal people do it or is everyone superwoman on here all of a sudden?

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:24

Sorry, but aren't you meant to set an example to your kids?

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:27

oi custy dont come the high and mighty with me, ive seen you in some situations!

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:28

situations that are not a good example to children

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:30

Ok, name one! I've seen you too, blackmailing your own children! You come across as such a Miss GoodyTwoShoes but you forget that I know the truth! Virgin my ass!

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:32

lets not air our dirty laundry in public!lets face it you have stacks of it literally as well as not!

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:33

Oh come on then! I'm surprised your kids have made it this far you leech!

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:35

leech?

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:37

Yeah well everyone knows you copied from me at school. You only made it now because of me and don't deny it!

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:39

ok i admit it i did copy off you at school and thats why i failed miserably!

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:42

Look lemon-face, you are crap with your kids! Guess who dobbed you in to social services, yeah me! I've seen you screaming an' shouting, and that's just at your dog! I ain't gonna be your friend no more - you is too working class for me you slag!

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:45

working class how can you call me too working class - the mumsnet ambassador of the working classes? now they are not good enough for you?

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:48

well, at least I don't have to resort to swearing at my kids to get them to behave! My kids are naturally well-behaved because of the class of parenting they come from. Which is more than I can say for yours!

Rhubarb · 17/01/2003 23:54

what class is that oh ambassador? still proud of being working class? we know how they treat their kids, dress their kids, speak to their kids

Tortington · 17/01/2003 23:58

Yeah, they teach their kids that having a shell of a car in the front garden is a water feature! That the new telly really did fall off the back of a lorry. Yes we do all have to wear shell-suits and how come I'm so fat when all I eat is KFC, MacDonalds and Burger King? Why heck I think I'll sue!
And the best discipline for kids according to them? Smack the living daylights out of them. Isn't that right Rhuby?

Rhubarb · 18/01/2003 00:01

i rarly smack i dont find the need for it, and it sound like you described yourself perfectly there custy

Tortington · 18/01/2003 00:05

Yeah right, you don't smack, and the Pope is Muslim, ain't that right? Seems to me that you is been a bit tame on here of late. What, are you scared of confronting me or summat? C'mon then, I know what you're like! All talk and no balls you big wuss! You just can't hack it can you?

Rhubarb · 18/01/2003 00:06

never seen you in a shell suit just tacky things from the market!
