The second trip was just

I am still desperately in need of new bras though.

I may balk at spending any money on clothes at the moment (10 weeks post partum) but 6 days after my c-section I was down at R&P spending a fortune to get my mahoosive boobs (34J ) into place.

So worth while going there, just for the fitting, really. You can buy your bras from wherever afterwards, but get the right size. Let me say that again: GET THE RIGHT SIZE.

Yes, I was measured at 40 E and that was accurate at JL, and M&S.

JFly · 28/05/2008 19:01

Thing is, every bra can fit differently, but on the whole the fitting you get at R&P will be correct across a number of ranges. Don't forget, they stock all different brands (Freya, Elle Macpherson, etc) so they aren't going to "inflate" your cup size to make you buy "their" bras.

And I think it's true that most women overestimate their back size and underestimate their cup, which mean you end up with saggy boobs.
