Valentines day - what a load of rubbish

Tacky, sleazy, only celebrated by those in dysfunctional relationships. DP and I never celebrate it- but have been called cynical and unromantic.
Does anyone celebrate it all?

DDF- Maybe I was a little insensitive, I am sorry if I offended you and the trouble you and your dh have been through. Guess I posted without thinking about about that. It was just following a conversation I had had and a gory visit to Asda

or maybe diarrhoea. Not sure if it was the oysters and too much champagne on 13th or the indian takeaway and wine we had at home on the day.

We haven't eaten my lemon curd heart cake (which looks ;like a badly misshapen earlobe because I don't have a heart shaped baking tray) yet so that can't be the cause...
