I freely admit to regularly buying OK! & The National Enquirer

If you don't read these rags what do you read?
I have tried Good Housekeeping but it was too dull

PurlyQueen · 22/01/2008 19:21

southeastastra · 22/01/2008 19:22

ah skeik! can you explain why articles in magazines like vogue are always split, ie turn to page 54 to continue this article. then you spend ages looking for the page numbers

really must stop my magazine buying but at moment its something like:
Junior
Delicious/Good Food Mags
Living etc (subscription)
and most other house magazines in the hope that one day my house will resemble one of them

beeper · 22/01/2008 21:02

The Economist

FuriousGeorge · 22/01/2008 21:32

None really-the occasional house /garden mag.I otherwise read newspapers & books-anything but romance & science fiction.

I have never bought a celeb mag in my life.

Vulgar · 22/01/2008 21:35

Country Living - my fave.

Junior -really annoys me but Ilike it because it is annoying and up it's own arse.

Grazia when extremely bored.

Carmenere · 23/01/2008 09:09

Vanity Fair

LazyLinePainterJane · 23/01/2008 09:10

I read Empire movie magazine and usually read DH's Wisden Cricketer. Even the thought of women's magazines makes my skin crawl.

LazyLinePainterJane · 23/01/2008 09:11

sometimes read gardening mags too

TheGiftedandTalentedGoat · 23/01/2008 09:18

they are over priced and full of the same crap recycled every month.

i read dh's prospect occassionally or the economist but i always feel it is a slog and i am doing something 'worthwhile' so generally i stick to the shallower bits of the guardian.

tarantula · 23/01/2008 09:27

Teh nearest we get to a magazine in our house is 'favourites' or 'friends' and the mag from whatever Saturday/Sunday paper we might buy. This is not every week tho not month either atm. I read books. If I want a light read I go for Christie style whodunits or Heyer type romances .
