creepy - mailing bag (aka parcel) arrived with a slit cut

Afternoon.. just had to share this with you as I felt a bit "hmmm... " when I received a parcel today.

Bough a lovely jumper on eBay and it arrived in a small grey mailing bag. Delivered by Myhermes ( seems like Evri is the new name?) but I noticed at the back of the bag there is this long cut (about my middle finger long) and I can see the content.

It looks like done by a cutter knife of a key?

I understand they have tons of parcels to deal with and my parcel could have been under large or sharp boxes etc, but I can't really think what causes this kind of a sharp cut, you know?

Jumper seems ok luckily, but I feel slightly violated :/

(I recognise today's delivery driver and we've been polite to each other always so I'd like to think the driver has nothing to do with this)

You are completely overreacting. It is a parcel that has been damaged at some time during delivery. The contents are thankfully undamaged. End of story. Unless there is some stalker/trauma back story, you really need to chill out

Why do you feel violated? I am with the others, it most likely got caught on something somewhere along the line.

It clearly got caught on something, maybe something in the van, possibly the drivers keys, could literally be anything, then got pulled along causing the rip.

You feel violated by the creepy slit in your parcel? Sorry but yes, you're over reacting. Perhaps check the returns policy as product did not arrive suitably packaged??

do you really feel 'violated' because a plastic bag got ripped? really? and I'm pretty sure that postal workers have got better things to do than cut random holes in your post because they're 'bored'... honestly, I would say you are massively overreacting and it probably got caught on something

I've had them like this, always assumed accidental damage or some dodgy sod somewhere along the delivery process checking to see if it was anything worth pinching, clearly I never order anything that is deemed worthy
