Up here in sheffield its snowing heavily and settling.

it was raining here all day but when it went dark it switched to snow and started settling

katzguk - not much snow in Doncaster. There was some sleet on the M18/M1 and the roads were really busy - took me ages to get home. But according to PILs (who in Doncaster) no proper snow at all.

Oh, and really sorry but I don't work Fridays. Otherwise I would have offered the lift

oh well no chance of school being closed then!! DH is going to have to catch the train our car is under lots of snow and the road is covered. See living next door would be fun!!! Snow snow snow and more snow

This is lovely reading about all this snow I wish it was here though (south east)!

nah its still snowing heavily here and no change is forecast so unless it majorly warms up over night then i think the snow is staying as is the car.

If you fancy some fun with DD tomorrow i can let you know how much snow is left. The park by us is normally great for sledging and snowman building. Would offer a cup of hot choc but should be a work tomorrow.

Hardly snowing in city centre now. Hasn't settled on the roads at all. Do have a covering of snow on the balcony though.

is the snow settling in herts? just its been so wet today even if it snowed tonight i dont think it will last til morning.

is DD exited or doesn't she care for the snow? my DD was excited unitl we went out in it and she got a face full!! its slowing here but still going!!

DD was excited and thought snow was fab, until she and DH had to come home from nursery in it today. Poor little thing was so cold. She had no hat, scarf or gloves on as hadn't expected it to snow. Her little hands per frozen. So, she isn't too impressed with it right now.
