Would you leave 5 week old baby for the night if your DH had booked you a spa day?

DH has booked me a spa day / night stay at a lovely hotel - very thoughtful of him I know! Thing is, DS will only be 5 weeks old and I\m breastfeeding. Would you go or would you cancel it? I could really do with a peaceful nights sleep!

Don't know how often your DS is feeding, but I think you are underestimating the logistics (and total faff) of leaving enough EBM.

Also just a note of caution, my neighbour left her 6 week old baby overnight and then had trouble getting him to breastfeed once she got back. He had discovered that bottles took less work. Not saying this will happen to you and maybe your baby is happily going from breast to bottle already, but it does happen.

Enjoy it if you do decide to go though!

I wouldn't with ds1 or ds2 but I would with ds3

If breastfeeding it will be a bit difficult (and uncomfortable for you).

I think 5 weeks ias a bit young tbh

Phobe the spa and ask them to postpone for a few weeks, I am sure they would be OK about it

I would have bitten my DH's hand off if he'd offered me this! Take your breast pump and have a wonderful time! xxx
