Well, I'm a size 9 and a wide foot t that.

I can't tell you the trouble I used to have getting shoes. Its a bit easier now but where do you get your shoes?

lou33 · 08/11/2004 10:00

spacemonkey · 08/11/2004 10:00

KangaMummy · 08/11/2004 10:12

9 here and wide to balance out my top half

live in trainers

HATE shoe shops!!!!!

coppertop · 08/11/2004 10:15

Gawd! If my shoes had to balance out my top half I'd need feet the size of skis.

misdee · 08/11/2004 10:16

i think my dd2 will have large feet as an adult. she is only 2 and wears 8.5g kids shoes. poor luv.

KangaMummy · 08/11/2004 10:16

I think I probably waddle

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 10:17

Cor, I wish foot size was related to bosom size!!! Then I'd either have gorge petite feet or a nice bust!!!

geekgrrl · 08/11/2004 10:21

ok, looks like I win with my narrow size 10s. shoe-shopping is expensive and a nightmare.

KangaMummy · 08/11/2004 10:23

I think there is a catalogue from something like 7 to 11 they have sent me them in past but can't think if that is actually the real name.

does anyone get from them?

WigWamBam · 08/11/2004 10:26

The Shoe Tailor - they do big sizes and wide fitting. My size 8s are too wide even for them though ... they're here

geekgrrl · 08/11/2004 10:31

there's Special Feetures, they do narrow shoes (from AAA up to B) in sizes up to 11 but are very expensive. Don't know any for wide feet. There is also medissashoes.com - slightly cheaper, but still pricey for the sort of shoes you get.

JanH · 08/11/2004 10:39

I'm a very large 8 - prob 8½ really, extreeeeemely wide and also with high instep. Nightmare. Managed to cram them into some size 9 Hush Puppy boots recently though (weird mid-calf length but under trousers it doesn't matter).

Evans go up to a 10 I think - have you tried them, geekgrrl? (Evans has become my shop of choice lately except for trousers. So glad it's not called Evans Outsize any more )

fairydust · 08/11/2004 11:02

size 8 / 9 and i get all my kitten heels pointy shoes etc from EVANS they go up to a womens size 10 and have really wide fittings

Titania · 08/11/2004 11:05

Im a size 3-4

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 11:06
  • you small feet people shouldn't be here!! Go away!!! (only joking, promise! )
Titania · 08/11/2004 11:08

i've got a really high instep so its a nighmare trying to get ant pretty little sandals and most boots...... So it's not always good having little feet.....

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 11:09

I've got really high arches and that at least helps with my big feet

SoupDragon · 08/11/2004 11:10

What annoys me the most about having size 7s (narrow) is that a soe shop will always have 3 identical shoes/boots on display in the same bl**dy size for each style and never anything in a 7. Why? What's the point? Are 3 size 5 people going to come in all at once and want to try on the same boot?

wobblyknicks · 08/11/2004 11:11

soupy - don't be silly - its because all people with small feet have 6 legs to make up!!!

motherinferior · 08/11/2004 11:21

Size 3-4? Pah. A three here. Or occasionally smaller. Will bugger off now.

motherinferior · 08/11/2004 11:22

PS mine are like flippers, by the way, not possible to force into Lady Shoes.

hunkermunker · 08/11/2004 11:33

My feet are different sizes by as much as a size in some shops. I wear boots in a size 5, as if I wear shoes one falls off. Count yourselves lucky big-footed ladies!

A very HM xxx

MI, are you a duck?

(Have we had this conversation before...?)
